Moreover, I have plans to persuade my sister, some of my friends and people who take an interest in volunteerism and social development. The Hub Childline Foundations gave me lots of good experience and good memories even though there are many facing problems come to me sometimes, but that makes me learn to resolve riddle and grow up because in daily life of mine didn’t happen that much.
The National Honor Society is an exceptional organization that allows students to help the needy, children, the elderly, and non-profit organizations. I would be excited to join such a society because of the limitless opportunities it presents to me. Joining NHS would allow me to grow as a person, and do as much as I can for others. Throughout my years as a student, I have shown great examples of scholarship, leadership, character and service that I believe would qualify to join this prestigious society. Due to my compassionate and caring nature, I have participated in various activities these few years. I, together with my friends in school organized a carnival to raise funds for the needy. I am evolved with volunteering at various events through the Interact club here at MHS. By volunteering within the town it gives me good morals. I’ve always been in Honors classes and get good grades, currently I have a GPA of 3.4 but am striving to better myself and get a 4.0. I try to always have a positive outlook on situations and prepare myself for challenging ones. I have great teamwork skills and I work great with different types of people even disabled/special needs. I am often the person that takes cares of my family when there is there is an outbreak of sickness. Also, I’m usually the pusher and encourager who inspires people to achieve their goals. My friends in North Syracuse were extremely supportive of me and I could not be more grateful for that. They taught me to be accepting of everyone, and they helped me become a less shy person. When I was younger I was not a fan of talking to and being around people I did not know. My friends in North Syracuse kind of led me out of my shell, which really helped when I moved to a completely new area. The friends I have now remind me of my friends I had in North Syracuse.
