The picture of Lady Liberty with open arms outstretched to the poor and down-trodden throughout the world is an inspiring symbol for conservative and liberal citizens of the United States of America. They are united in the desire to continue living out the Founders’ vision in the modern age. However, they are divided in their interpretation of exactly who is included within that embrace. The terminology of ‘open immigration’ sounds appealing to many residents of the USA. After all, why shouldn’t everyone be able to enter our wonderful homeland?

There are a lot of controversial issues surrounding this country. Whitin all those controversial issues there 's the “issue” of illegal immigration. I 'm sure we 're all familiar with the term “illegal immigration”. We’re always told about how bad it is. Don 't get me wrong, it is bad but it 's not done with the intention of hurting someone else but to try and change their future. To get out of the violence, drug, and alcohol abuse where they come from.

Illegal immigrants should be allowed to stay in the U.S.A. and become citizens because they are heavy workers, want a better life and most importantly they contribute to the U.S. economy. Immigrants simply want to obtain an opportunity to live and work in this great country. With all this in mind it is clear that they deserve a path to citizenship.

Some believe that immigrants should be allowed to stay in our country, because they believe our economy wouldn’t be good without them and many businesses rely on immigrants working for them. On the other hand, the other side believe that immigrants are overpopulating the U.S and don’t have the money to support all of these immigrants (education/jobs.) Immigrants should be allowed to remain in the country because many families would be separated, they are already accustomed to the American society, and they contribute to the economy.

Like Jan Brewer once said,”We cannot afford all this illegal immigration and everything that comes with it, everything from the crime and to the drugs and the kidnappings and the extortion and the beheadings and the fact that people can 't feel safe in their community. It 's wrong! It 's wrong!”, immigration should not be allowed. Why can’t we tolerate immigration? Maybe it is because there are many risks involved with it. Some people worry that some jobs will not have enough people to work them. However, illegal immigrants should be deported for entering the country illegally, because the government can not afford their costs, this encourages more illegal immigrants to come, and this causes more poverty.

Some undocumented immigrants commit crimes such as drug smuggling, or terrorism. Our policies on illegal immigration can diminish the problem by enforcing immigration laws, revoking birthright autonomy, and demanding proof of citizenship when applying for social services. Immigration has become a major problem in this country and needs to be restricted.

Hundreds or thousands immigrates legal or illegal come to the United States for jobs. Some immigrates come because they need money for their family and other's come because they want to danger us.

People leave their countries and come to the United States to become citizens and find work to make a life for themselves. Granting them citizenship and legal status helps avoid losing their homes and being forced to go back where they came from. Immigration is a natural right, and if people want to come to the U.S. and start a life here, give them the opportunity to do so. Treating immigrants unfair and calling them “Illegal aliens” is offensive, causing racism to stir up. They are human beings trying to find a line of work and make a living for themselves. The letting immigrants stay can bring benefits to the economy, influence good values, and motivate others to chase after the American Dream.
