The similarities in Night and Schindler’s list are very obvious but one theme comes out in particular. Many people try not to realize what's true when they don’t want to when they see how fallacious it is. In the first few pages of Night by Elie Wiesel a boy discovers the horrors that are happening in Germany to the Jews and tries to warn others what is coming, ”Some even insinuated that he only wanted their pity, that he was imagining things. Others flatly said that he had gone mad.”(P.7 Elie Wiesel). Moise the beatle being “he” was trying to warn others what was coming their way, but instead of believing him, Jews felt pity and was sorry for him for falling mad. What he was saying seemed so outrageous and unsern to people that they could
Different races, ethnicities, genders, sexualities, and religions banded together to pretest the war. People view the John Lennon song, “Give Peace A Chance,” as a good example of how the war brought people together. The recording of the songs features an acoustic guitar, with a tambourine, and the voices of, reportedly, 50 people in a hotel room. The song was written by Lennon and his wife Yoko Ono during their “bed-in,” where they stayed on a bed in a hotel for a week at a time, in order to protest the war. This song was adopted by the anti-war movement as its

The band consisted of John Lennon (1940–1980), Paul McCartney (b. 1942), George Harrison (1943–2001), and Ringo Starr (b. 1940) (Source 2). However, John Lennon was the most rebellious and politically active out of all the members of the group and he used the influence of his fame and music to be incredibly involved in political activism. He and his wife Yoko Ono were in what seemed to be a constant state of protest to the war which was also highly influential on society as their protests were seen by all. John

In April of 1963, while incarcerated in Birmingham City jail, Martin Luther King Jr. wrote an influential letter defending his anti-segregation protests. King had been arrested while participating in a peaceful anti-segregation march, although several local religious groups counted on King for support. Since King’s arrest, he had time to think deeply about the situation; therefore, he decides to reply back to the Alabama clergymen. He also got married that year to Dorothy Quincy. He hoped to be selected to command the army around Boston, but George Washington was chosen instead. He was made the leader of the Massachusetts Delegate. He and Samuel Adams were hunted by the British because they kept getting people to protest and caused trouble. It was Paul Revere who warned them the British were coming and the two fled to Philadelphia. John gave money to the war efforts. His own business was starting to lose money at this time.
According to some, John Lennon 's assassination was considered just as devastating as the deaths of Martin Luther King Jr. and John F. Kennedy (Feeney 1). John Lennon use to be a member of the very popular and impactful band, the Beatles. Most considered Lennon the intellectual and outspoken Beatle and this resulted in hate from some people (History.com 1). Days before the shooting, Chapman told his wife he had been obsessed with killing Lennon. He showed her the gun and bullets, but she did not tell the police what Chapman planned on doing. On the day of the shooting Chapman met Lennon outside of the hotel Lennon was staying at, he even shook hands with his son and got him to sign his copy of Catcher in the Rye. While meeting Lennon Chapman was too starstruck to pull the trigger and waited hours outside the hotel for Lennon to return that night. The assassination of John Lennon was unjust because he was an innocent musician who was killed by a mentally unstable man; however some believe that because of his outspoken personality he deserved the animosity he received (History.com 1).

Now before the Civil Rights Movement, some causes were going on. The first was discrimination, like the Jim Crow laws, having people be complete opposites with each other and be rude towards each other. Next was segregation everything was different like the, water fountains, sections of the bus, they even had different school, colored schools, and white schools. The last cause in my opinion, this is the most sad of them all the violence, the African Americans were getting their houses caught on fire by the mischievous whites, getting viciously beat by the whites sometimes even killed like getting run over by a car, sheriff 's releasing their demon dogs on African Americans as well.
