Because of Arthur’s denial of Guinevere's affair with Lancelot, Mordred seizes his opportunity to accuse Guinevere, which causes Arthur to stage her “execution” and her rescue. Because of this, Gaheris and Gareth are placed in danger, and killed by Lancelot in his rampage, as well as many other soldiers who were only doing their duty. “” (White #) However, this has wider repercussions, and Mordred and Agravaine use Lancelot’s crime of “treason” to persuade some of the knights of the Round Table to follow his ideas. This culminates in a battle between his followers and Arthur’s, and ultimately ends in Arthur’s death, marking the end of his kingdom. “” (White #) All of Mordred’s actions would never have occurred if not for Guinevere’s affair. The chain of events causing Camelot’s collapse would never have happened if Guinevere had not loved both Arthur and

One of the main subjects discussed both in the film and Morte d’ Arthur was the chivalric code and the knightly behavior. As much as the Monty Python was a mock film, it introduced many scenes where a knight was tested for his chivalric code. The knights were examined on their bravery, loyalty, and honesty to themselves and their king along with other knightley behaviors. In Morte d’ Arthur, the king was challenged to a battle between himself and the Green Knight. Well ironically, during the film King Arthur ran into a battle of the Black Knight and the Green Knight where the Black Knight won and he tested King Arthur to battle in order to pass through his land.
Thomas Mallory’s Works have been passed down generation by generation. Many authors have tried to replicate his works but none have amounted to be successful. They have only condensed the narratives, by cutting and simplifying according to the age of his audience, but always following him with more or less exactitude. One of the stories is the story of Launcelot and King Arthur.
This heroic journey, probably lost in ages to pass; tells the true origin of King Arthur’s father, a story that is no doubt going to be subjected to the fabrication and the falsehoods by future writers desiring fame and historical significance. These are the real events leading to King Uther Pendragon’s birth, the father of King Arthur, predating all other future recollections, retold by me, Matt Tanzman, a noble and possibly one of the greatest historians and scholars ever in, or likely ever to be in King Arthur’s court. My writing regarding the father of King Arthur’s origin had been made in secret, written in the Latin language to assure secrecy, and hidden away until its’ future potential rediscovery. King Arthur didn’t want this information

Follow the Code (An Analysis of King Arthur’s Code of Chivalry in Morte d’Arthur) The sword and the stone is a long lived story still being told since before 1471, over five hundred years now. There are many aspects of this story that can be analyzed for different purposes. This story of Morte d’Arthur scripted by Sir Thomas Malory displays a great example of the code of chivalry and the way it was admired in the time of King Arthur himself and the Knights of the Round Table.
English writer whose identity remains uncertain but whose name is famous as that of the author of Le Morte Darthur, the first prose account in English of the rise and fall of the legendary king Arthur and the fellowship of the Round Table. The only know night at the time that fit the description of the author was Sir Thomas Malory of Newbold Revel in Warwickshire, A knight and a member of parliament. Who was jailed periodically between 1450-1460. But it was not recorded that he was in prison during the time the book was published; Sir Thomas Malory completed Le Morte Darthur about 1470. He and his brothers created and developed a new trend of style refined from the Rococo style which had been fashioned for decades. The style is commonly known as Adams style.
