Afterwards, she picked a dress and a bow, and an ice cream. And well home, key in the door, twist it around, what a wonderful feeling. She never understood how it was possible. She thought of it like one of the Cinderella stories, when the poor working girl finally gets what she deserves, normally because of a random fairy. But Abigail did not though about the fairy that much, she just enjoyed it, just lived it.

It revolves around the flight of the princess to escape the awful marriage to his father (Perrault, 1977). Charles Perrault uses the princess’ character to reveal the major themes of overcoming evil, child abuse and incest in the story. Perrault also brings out the moral that it is better to encounter awful challenges in life than to fail in one’s duty. He shows that although the virtue may seem unrealistic, it can always triumph. The author uses various literary devices to reveal the various morals of the story.

Her mother truly meant this, during any sort of conflict, Cinderella will do what she is told and be rewarded by awfully dark things happening to her false sisters and her stepmother. Cinderella is unrecognizable when she sneaks into a festival which includes a wedding feast held by the King for his son to find a bride, this festival is supposed to last 3 days long, Cinderella’s stepmom makes her do ridiculous chores that are impossible in order for her to earn permission to go to the event, the pigeons help her make it possible. Cinderella is seen in a beautiful dress with glass slippers, her sisters believed she was some kind of foreign princess when they saw her. The Prince falls for Cinderella when he sees her at the wedding feast but once the Prince decides he wants to see where this beautiful princess lives, Cinderella panics and ends up escaping him 3 separate times within the next two days of the festival, on the last Cinderella left her slipper. The prince made all of the girls try it on, the sisters both cut off parts of their feet in order for the shoes to fit perfectly and be with the prince.
“The girl was running. Running for her life, in the hope of finding a safe haven for her and her family. She never looks back, the only indication her father was still behind her was his ragged breathing above her head, forming puffs of air in this cold morning. She suddenly stumbles on a root, but her mother secures her fall with a small wisp of air. They lock hands, all three of them, and continue pushing themselves, desperately trying to find the others they lost on the way.
