Role models come in all shapes and sizes. A role model could be a parent, a family member, a famous person, or really anyone you look up to. I personally have a few role models in my life, and NFL Tight End Rob Gronkowski is a huge one. Gronkowski has many qualities that I look up to, but the one that stands out the most is that he overcame severe injuries at the college level to become one of the best Tight Ends if NFL history. He is the best at what he does because of the work he puts in everyday, and alongside that, he is a hilarious guy that loves to have a good time. Gronkowski grew up in a big family in New York, but later moved to Pittsburgh where he would learn to love the game of football. He became the star Tight End at Woodland …show more content…
First of all, he is an extremely hard worker. Rebounding from back surgery in college to become the NFL’s best Tight End doesn 't come easy, but Gronkowski wasn 't going to let that stand in his way. As previously said, he is the best at what he does. You should want to strive to be the best at whatever it is you do, and it is important to look up to someone who is the same. Another big reason Gronkowski is my role model is that he loves to have fun, and even though he is the best, he doesn 't take himself too seriously. If you pay attention to sports, you probably know about how Gronkowski parties off the field. He even has his own party boat that sailed from Florida to his private island in the Bahamas. If you ask his teammates about him, along with talking about his work ethic, they will tell you that he is overall a great guy to be around. I believe Rob Gronkowski is a positive role model for several reasons. When I see how successful he is, and how much fun he has with it, it drives me to one day become like him. He often talks about how if you want to be the best at something, you have to earn it. He is a great example that even if you are the best, don 't take yourself too seriously and have fun every once in awhile. He shows everyone the importance of showing resilience, fighting back from his back surgery in college. Overall, Gronkowski is a great example for the kids of our generation, and will
For he will always be remembered for what he did in his short career. He was a big old monster for the New York Jets standing at 6'5 and 270 pounds. But that's not what he will be remembered for. He will be remembered for what he did for the New York Community. For he showed much courage after his accident that paralyzed him from the waist down.
You also have the antithesis of Bryant and Sherman with players like Andy Dalton and Russell Wilson. They try to expunge themselves and stay out of trouble. Peyton Manning is one of the altruistic and amorous guys you'll ever meet. I know this is just a nominal quality for a celebrity, but it's a huge part of the reason that he is such an integral role model.
He was known for being well-decorated with a bright future ahead of him. As he was signed and let go a few times though, his reputation dropped in the eyes of the NFL drafts. He struggled to find a team willing to stick to a contract with him and eventually gave up
He is a positive leader to his teammates. He is a quarterback, he needs to pass the ball to the teammates to make a touchdown. He became the 3rd best quarterback from the Dallas Cowboys he is great. It is interesting not to only know about his football life, also about his personal life.
In his career he had some things that molded him to his character. He realised that he wanted to be a football player when he was in High School, but he worked twice as hard in college. And after college he was drafted to the Atlanta Falcons and that when he joined the NFL. “You know I’ve had my ups and downs.” Is another quote from Brett Favre.
When he takes over the Rams football team in the 1999 season he quickly starts getting results. In that season he gets the second most touchdowns of any quarterback ever, behind Dan Moreno. He demonstrates his ability to throw the ball accurately and quickly. Most importantly for a super bowl caliber team, Kurt has the ability to bring out the very best in the men around him.
Archie was born in Mississippi he was strongly involved in sports especially football. He went to the University of Mississippi, while there he was named All-American Quarterback and his number is retired. In 1971 he was drafted into the New Orleans Saints, he spent his entire football career playing for that team. Now while Archie was at the top of his game he did have some struggles he was dealing with.
I'm super proud of him and all his success, like to huge extreme. As I wrote this paper I began to realize, it's not just about winning trophies and medals to Gary, it's something way more. With all his success he could have chose to become big headed and cocky person, but he chose to choose the path of being thankful and blessed beyond all things. His love for the game is an all time high, but yet he still puts family, friends and school first. To me, it's crazy to think one of my role models, Gary Trent Jr. is the same age as me, but as I look at the big picture, he's already more successful than some adults, and he can only get more successful.
Tom Brady is the greatest football player to ever play the game. This might sound like an opinion, but there are so many facts following from here that it’s basically a true statement that Tom Brady is the G.O.A.T. If you don’t know what G.O.A.T means, well it means that he is just the Greatest Of All Time. It takes a lot to say he is because there are so many other incredible players that have played the sport of football, but none of them are at Tom Brady’s level. He might not be the most jacked guy, but he doesn’t need to be, he is a true leader and mentally a great athlete.
He also described his career goals and achievements in football as wanting to be the best example and a leader in his career. The Contextual motivation for his work/sport and social profile in this article describes him as being excited to be a new dad and being the best at playing football and the best dad. Positive role models are so important in our society, someone who they can look up to and be a positive impact on their lives. So many times, in our society, so many adolescences marvels at role models that have no talent like the Kardashian or these reality TV stars. I like the positive role models for adolescence that encourage them to make smart choices in their lives and builds them up overall. One positive role model for adolescence would have to be the rapper J Cole, there are a lot of rappers that talk about negative things in their music like violence and having the most money. The rapper J Cole sings about being positive and loving yourself, he is a lot different then other rappers in our society, the reason I picked him is because
Tom Brady is a great role model because he does a lot of charity work and he is a great quarterback. He supports a charity called Best Buddies International. This organization helps enhance the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I believe that having a role model like Tom Brady will help me become a better person, work extremely hard, never give up and give to my community as he
According to Dr. Price-Mitchell's article "What is a Role Model?" a role model is how young people develop their skills, abilities, and motivation to become citizen. Dr. Price-Mitchell's identifies several qualities
Many people have a person that they look up to and who encourages them. It 's someone who I think doesn 't give up and gets back up when they fall down, who has an impact to other people around them and they work for what they have earned. A person that is a role model to me is a man named Kobe Bryant. He is a basketball player that accomplished many things in his career. He was also born on August 23, 1978 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (Biography Today 44).

Otherwise, you are making their destiny not brighter but darker.” — C.S. Lewis. A popular debate that has been raging since the first comic was published is, are superheroes good role models? Superheroes are good role models for many reasons.
