Khadiza Begum Senior Fitzgerald High School As a student, it is a great honor to just be nominated as a candidate for the National Honor Society. It insists that I have been industrious throughout the past three years of high school– which I take great pride in. I have always shown my best even through my struggles.
The world, as well as ourselves, can become confident. I will encourage scholarship, leadership, and good citizenship with my school and community. With my hardwork, not only shall I benefit, but all that I help shall be benefited as well.
Perseverance is one word to describe how I have accomplished and succeeded in every goal I have committed myself to. Having the opportunity to apply for the National Honors Society is one goal I have so far accomplished this year. This not only demonstrates my hard work in different areas, including academics and clubs, but also my passion for helping others and my community. I think my experience with leadership and volunteer work will not only help me flourish, but also help my peers to flourish outside and inside the Society. Leadership is one of the pillars that the National Honors Society is built upon.
As an applicant and future enrolled student of Howard University I too hold many of the university 's core values listed above. Though many of the described values that the university instills into their students are great core values to promote I consider the action of constantly being a leader in any setting of my life the biggest factor when focusing on my growth not only as an adult but as a person. I 'd like to continue by mentioning the fact that I was born a leader. Being the first born and fortunately oldest sister of a very vivacious and boisterous young lady has attributed to the process I follow when making decisions that not only affect me but her as well. As an older sister your focus is no longer on just yourself.
Essay of Intent I deserve to be part of the National Junior Honor Society for many reasons. To begin with I deserve to be in National Junior Honor Society because of my skills as a leader. Additionally, I have a very strong character, and able to work well in a team. Finally, I am willing to give back to the people in need and honoring my country. To wrap it all up, I deserve to be in National Junior Honor Society because of my strong character, my leadership skills, my strength in working in a team, my willingness to help people in need, and for honoring our country.
National Junior Honors Society As an individual i have a lot of good qualities, like being a leader and helping people when they need it or standing up for what i know is right. I have a lot of good qualities and I think that my good qualities should be spread throughout my school and community. I am fond of being a leader. I do Cheer and Volleyball because I like to lead my team and show them how being confident in what you’re doing can make you strive for greatness.
It is a great honor to be nominated as a member of the National Honor Society. There are many reasons why I want to take part in NHS. One reason why I want to be in it is to continue to grow academically with people who have the same goals as me. I want to be encouraged, not discouraged by the people around me. If I get into NHS, it will give me a lot of opportunities to be a leader.
It is an extraordinary honor to be considered as a candidate for the National Honor Society. Being considered means I have achieved my goal in demonstrating my determination- in school and outside of school- and my willingness to aid people in my community. Being a part of such a prestigious organization is an enormous responsibility to which I will fully devote my time. Ever since I was a freshman, my goal was to work diligently to be among the highest scholars and to be accepted into this scholarly “hall of fame”. I hold all the qualities required by the distinguished NHS like leadership, service, character and scholarship.
It would be an honor to be among the exemplary students who represent the National Honor Society. The first time I heard about NHS was in the second semester of my freshman year. Ever since then I pushed myself to work hard. Thinking that by pushing myself harder to get that A in that one academically challenging class, putting on a smile every day, and getting better at time management while displaying character, scholarship, leadership, and service will help me to become an NHS student who represents the ideology of the club. In many environments, in and out of school, I believe I display those qualities.
Nevaeh Hancock National Honors Society April 18, 23 National Honors Society As a high school freshman watching my brother walk across alongside students representing the National Honors Society encouraged me. Witnessing seniors walk across the stage with pride on their faces from representing the National Honors Society on their graduation humbled me to be a part of the National Honors Society community. I feel like I inquired about all the qualities that are mandatory and more that qualify my entrance into the National Honor Society.
The National Honor Society is built upon four founding principles: Scholarship, Character, Leadership, and Service. I have a high school life filled with dedication to these four principles on the Spiritual standpoint, the Familial level, the Community level and finally at the National level. Moreover, I did begin my dedication to these same four principles even before this starting with the Boy Scouts of America and this commitment will continue along with having a rich future when I reach my fullest potential. I firmly believe that to have academic excellence is giving your best effort to maintain not just having straight As and a high GPA at or close to the edge of attaining a 4.0, but to also have the skills that help you perform your very best in college and beyond.
