I am honored to be amongst the meritorious students who are being considered for induction into the National Honors Society. Being an active member of this society has been something I have been looking forward to since middle school; having previous family members inducted, I regard acceptance to it a goal I must accomplish. I would be honored to be a member of this society which is known for benefiting others. These limitless opportunities of contributing to my community will help me grow as a person which will undoubtedly help me in my future career in the medical field and leave an impact on my fellow community members. The National Honors Society is an important organization made up of students who demonstrate leadership, service, character,
I hold all the qualities required by the distinguished NHS like leadership, service, character and scholarship. Often time I see myself living by the quote “See the world not as it is, but as it should be” and I try to, to the best of ability everyday. Being in NHS would give me the chance to live out this quote wholeheartedly and inspire others to do the same. I’ve gotten the chance to build upon my leadership skills through the sports and clubs here at Oakcrest High School. Those who knew me in middle
The way I was raised has influenced me to be confident, mature, and selfless to not only get through life, but to succeed in it. I make it my obligation to signify the four pillars of National Honor Society everywhere I go. I know that I am evaluated on my character and abilities in and out of school. That makes me responsible to represent not only SHDHS, but my family, my clubs, and my sports
Throughout my Life and high school career I have spent many hours with teachers and coaches. I have had many experiences, but the one that stands out most to me is my former cheerleading coach and gym teacher, Ms. Traska. She coached our team with no background in cheerleading. She brought us closer as a team and being part of this team has made a difference in my life. The two years that Ms. Traska coached were the most fun, productive, and memorable years that I have been on the team.
I try to be involved in anything I can to help the school, from being an active member of the tennis team, volunteering at several locations to give back to the world, and being apart of REBEL to help spread awareness and guide people to make better decisions. I believe that I would be an asset to the society because I always bring a positive attitude, always work hard to achieve my goals. I make every effort to assist my fellow students to do their best and will be a very dedicated person to any scenario National Honor Society brings in my pathway to
I decided to take a leadership role through the FFA chapter, but it has turned into so much more. It has shaped me into the person I’m today and allowed me to have the friends and memories I do today. Running for office in the FFA is a huge deal, whether it's at thelocal, state, or national level. It is a position of respect and responsibility among FFA members. Making the decision to pursue a position was a huge one.
All my life I had always loved to help others and set an example. I believe that community service through the program National Honor Society, has greatly impacted my life by showing me how I can put my underlying motivation and cast a full fire of passion. I have always loved to teach and motivate others to try their hardest in school to achieve something above of their expectations. From my love of teaching, tutoring and trying to help understand in "student talk" has always been a strong point to show how rewording something can greatly impact a student's understanding which is all worthwhile. I always make sure to keep my grades up and dedicate time to studying and persevering which has influenced others around me to follow my path to achievement.
When I think of a cheer captain I think of someone who gets along with every member of the team and is well liked by every last person on the team to include the coaches. Cheer captains should have a bond with their squad that is exceptionally strong that is a sisterhood. I would never want my squad to be disappointed in me and I would always take their feelings in to consideration to pick the option that would benefit the whole team. Cheer captains should keep their squads honor intact by being the best they can be, encourage the team to keep their grades up, and follow all rules and remind their squad of all rules and consequences for all actions. Additionally being captain would also give me the chance to show that I have very strong leadership abilities.
The National Honors Society is an organization consisting of outstanding students across the nation, and I am truly honored to be considered to join. Not only does this organization push students to succeed academically, but it also allows them to build character by taking part in their communities through leadership roles and service. With this, I would take advantage of all the opportunities the society presented me to build my own character even further. In my years of high school, I have shown that I am qualified to join the society based on my performance in academics, character, leadership and service. Throughout my years, I have been able to maintain a GPA at a 4.0, while also balancing my time with sports, clubs and a job.
Over the course of my high school career, I have become a leader among my peers and I have made a positive difference in my school, community, and family. As a student, I made the choice to become a leader. It is something that anyone can do, but most do not. I began as a silent leader; I led by example.
It is a great honor to be considered for acceptance into the F.A. Verplanck Chapter of the National Honor Society. Being apart of this means more than just having outstanding grades. Even though it is an important factor, aspects like leadership, community, and character is also what shapes this organization and the people in it to be a well rounded individual. I feel as if I possess all of these characteristics and I will make me positive contribution into the National Honors Society.
I am deeply honored to be given the opportunity to join the National Honor Society and be among some of the most exceptional students in our school. Being given this opportunity shows my family and myself that I’ve truly worked as hard as I can to succeed. Growing up around adults with a good work ethic has taught me to see the reality in life. Working hard will help create a better future. I not only work hard in my classes but I also participate in sports which gives me the experience of being a leader.
I am extremely honored to be eligible for this opportunity to apply for the National Honor Society. Becoming a member of the National Honor Society has been a goal I set for myself since I was a student in middle school. I have been greatly looking forward to this moment for a very long time. Overall, I have worked incredibly hard these last two years to display a positive character and obtain qualities such as leadership, responsibility, and scholarship. I strongly believe I will be a productive and reliable member of the National Honor Society at Harvard H. Ellis Technical High School.
I am truly honored to be considered for being a part of The national honor Society. Being a part of this organization has been a goal for me since I first knew about what it was, and how it does great things for the community. I am inspired when I hear the great actions it national honor Society has done and I hope to be a part of this admirable organization. I feel I am qualified to be a part of this organization because of my dedication and hard work. Every day I follow the same routine.
Unfortunately, I was not able to complete the assignment to the letter of the law, but I believe that my time was spent wisely by helping the group in any manner that they needed. I ultimately believe that The League of Women’s Voters is an awesome organization that not only helps the educate ALL types of voters that follow then, as well as serve as an available tool for everyone to become more educated on a variety of issue, both nationally and locally. Their national brand is something that is held with high value, as it should be, and continue to be for all the great work that they do for the voters of
