Reading this question, I experienced a high level of mathematics anxiety, I realised I could solve this question however I hesitated. I was contemplating ‘how I was going to communicate and explain my thinking?’ Initially to solve this question I utilised ‘the order of operations’, this is a knowledge I previously developed and indicates ‘multiplication and division are always completed before addition and subtraction’ in mathematics. Yes I believe that this is an infringement on someone’s rights. The police department has the means to track criminals in the appropriate ways. The person I talked to concluded that they would not take the pledged. Their reasoning was that they thought a pre-constructed hierarchy was wrong and that one person's option isn’t greater than another. They believed that those ideas would prevent people coming together to compromise. Without compromise, there would be an "end all be all" and that made him uncomfortable. It was clear that he wanted to be able to have conversations where all ideas could be accepted and talked about rather than have certain ideas be suppressed.
Erin has display fear around all animals; the teacher is planning a field trip and the teacher doesn’t want Erin to miss such activity. Therefore, in this situation, the teacher needs to do the following to help Erin to manage her fears. Before the trip: The teacher need to acknowledge Erin’s fears and recognize them by helping her to understand her feelings. In this case, Erin needs to know that people can feel differently around animal, but in the same manner some of them may feel the same way as she does. My identity is wrapped up in my love of music because I have been surrounded by it since I was little. When I was a toddler, I would sit for long periods of time and watch videos of kids singing songs. As I grew older I participated in my church's children's choir and even held solos in my elementary school chorus. When I reached middle school I joined my school's middle school chorus in 7th grade as an alto and 8th grade as a soprano. The transition between 8th and 9th grade was important for me because I took up voice lesson in 8th grade and went to my first music camp the summer before 9th grade.
Two resources that I could use in my classroom support student learning are the instructional technology and the instructional materials. First is the instructional technology, my district provides each student with a personal Chromebook. This is a program called IGNiTE that aims to provide students with modern learning tools. Using this resource in my classroom to communicate lessons across to students using technology. Using this for students to complete homework and turn it in via Canvas.
