Scotty: Dude look at all those Mexicans crossing the border illegally and stealing our jobs! It makes me really mad!! Why can’t they just stay in their own country? Neeyal: Scotty, you can’t say stuff like that. Those “Mexicans” come here to provide a better life for their families. They are doing the same thing my parents did before I was born! Scotty: Yeah I know, but your parents came here legally! They can’t just come here illegally! They can just start taking our jobs and demanding the same rights as us! It’s just wrong, they are all illegal and need to be deported! Neeyal: Scotty, I know what you mean by having illegal immigrants deported, but that doesn’t mean that all Mexicans are illegal and it doesn’t mean all illegal immigrants are

Illegal immigrants are taking our jobs away from citizens. These illegal immigrants don’t have to pay taxes, be on a jury… This is cheating the american system out of a lot of money each year, and making those american citizen who need the money and pay their bills, suffer. As a result of illegal immigrants taking their jobs, they have to move into more affordable conditions, which could mean a small apartment, or moving in with a relative, either way it 's not a way hard working american
In Leo R. Chavez’s ethnography, The Latino Threat: Constructing Immigrants, Citizens, and the Nation, the claimed problem of Latino immigration, specifically Mexicans, is tackled using interviews, statistics, and other works of literature. Chavez’s ethnography not only discusses Latino immigration but Latino invasion, integration, organ transplants and even Latina fertilization. One of Chavez’s big topics is on how the media influences the public to believe that Latinos are planning an invasion or take-over in order to gain the land that was originally Mexico’s. The topic of Latina reproduction and fertilization comes up multiple times through Chavez’s ethnography. Another main topic that plays a part in Chavez’s argument is the Latino role in public marches and the citizenship aspect of their actions.
These are the real problems we need to confront in order to get total control of our borders. Meanwhile, our businesses understandably petition for a more generous H-1B visa program so they have more access to guest workers. The workers themselves want a way to come here to work and go home occasionally without worrying about the problem of returning. At the end of the day, we want to put the end to illegal immigration.
Immigrants are the pioneer of work in the United States Because they will never say no to work, they are a hard worker. Immigrants are located all around the unites states. Most of the Cuba people lives in Miami, the Colombian people are located New York in not event it this is a reason why people work on construction industries also in chemical plan doing hard work, om the hotels the housekeepers are most of the time Spanish people my people. According to a study released last year by the Pew Hispanic Center, as of 2008, 11.9 million illegal immigrants lived in the United States, more than triple the 3.5 million who lived in the country in 1990 (Izumi). Immigration throughout the years has become a major issue in the U.S because of too many immigrants entering the country year after year. The U.S has come to a point whether they should deport the immigrants back to their country. Believe it or not, these immigrants are a big contribution to the U.S. If it wasn’t for them, the U.S economy wouldn’t be where it stands now.
Dear President of the United States Donald J. Trump, Illegal immigrants are wanting to have a better life in America, but our President, Donald Trump, is stopping them from doing so. Those individuals are now being taken away from this wish of a better life, deported back to their countries. People with this much power shouldn’t use that power to ruin lives, instead, they should use it to make all illegal immigrants feel safe and live without any worry of having to start over. By deportation being allowed, it is breaking up families and ruining the chance of illegal immigrants to achieve their American Dream.
Have you ever wondered why immigrants are getting deported each year and being separated from their children? Immigration is the action of coming permanently in a foreign country. It is significant to have immigrants here in the United States because they help the country grow financially by starting their own business. In the United States there are many hispanic restaurants such as Mexican, Guatemalan, Honduran, Salvadoran, etc. Having immigrants is like a tool for us because if we ever have a flat tire and you take it to the mechanics it's usually a hispanic man helping and if they are nice enough they won’t charge you anything.
Hundreds or thousands immigrates legal or illegal come to the United States for jobs. Some immigrates come because they need money for their family and other's come because they want to danger us. Immigrates should be allow to come to the United States because they're better jobs there ,and also they need money for their family. For example, many immigrates struggle to pay for their family needs and it's really hard because I had a friend that her parents had to move to the United States for better jobs. Her parents couldn't pay the bills in Mexico so the only way to get money and better jobs are in the United States.
I.Introduction One of the greatest controversies in modern day is illegal immigrants. There are an approximate 11.4 undocumented immigrants that live in our country today. Now with your new action in place, I think it’s a good thing. Mainly because it allows lasting illegal immigrants to stay here, it allows jobs to go to documented americans, and gives children hope for a better future ahead. II.
There are an estimated 11 million immigrants in the country and we also admit over a million permanent legal immigrants each year, leading to enormous implication for the U.S. Labor Market.(Unskilled Workers Lose Out to Immigrants par. 1 Steven A. Camarota). Immigration is a hot topic in today’s society. Some people believe that illegal immigrants should be forced to leave the United States because the commit serious crimes and take jobs from American workers, however many people believe that they should stay because it could help our workforce and they do the job’s American’s don’t want to do. Illegal immigrants should be forced to leave the United States because in November 2007, more than 2 million (illegal & legal) immigrants were working, there were about 1.5 million fewer native born Americans working in November 2007.
How can illegal immigration be controlled? Lastly, how should U.S. immigration policy be reformed? This purpose of the this book is to not change your opinion about immigration but rather inform of others opinions. “ Those who do not know their opponent’s arguments do not completely understand their own” (David L Bender, Publisher)
In some people’s minds, they automatically assume yes, but in reality, it’s a no, immigrants tend to perform labor, and do minimal jobs that Americans don’t, and won't do, so they mistake that as immigrants taking ‘Americans job’, but it’s actually a missed opportunity. One reason for people not taking the jobs is because of the hours, the next reason is the pay might not satisfy a legal immigrant, and people born in America, another reason is it wouldn’t be able to support a regular American family, but they will be able to support an illegal immigrant. The downside is that the policymakers disagreement is the weak labor since the spread immigrants flow has made a dramatic change seeing that the H-B has issued down by twenty- five percent in 2010. The last reasoning is American people want to have a debate on if immigration is stealing American jobs, but according to evidence immigrants actually increases job opportunity and incomes of Americans. This is wise because even George G. Borjas’s long-run estimates suggest that immigrants raise the wages of people with high school diplomas.”-
They haven't seen the hard working immigrants that are just trying to provide for their families. I'm not saying let all immigrants in because it should be restricted and watched. I say let the hardworking, law abiding immigrants
They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.” There is no other idea than President Trump is trying to convince our country and the people that support him that undocumented immigrants pose a unique threat to our society as they are doing nothing good to help the supremacy of the Caucasian within the United States and although not everyone thinks the same and some people do have common sense and understand and do believe the idea that immigrants are what define America and that we are a nation of values, founded on an idea that all men and women are created equal, no matter on where they come from, or what they look like. One piece of evidence that we have read in class that talks about separating people or treating them difference hence their race is the article written by Michael Owi and Howard Winant named Racial Formation in the United States.
