I chose to write about John F. Kennedy using the his “Civil Rights Address” as my primary source. By writing this paper I hope to prove how JFK helped the civil rights movement even though his term was cut short. I’m hoping I can prove that during his term he accomplished something for this movement that had a lasting effect. Civil rights was and still is a big deal in America and I hope to find out about his contribution to that effort.
John F. Kennedy, also known as JFK, is perhaps the most-loved president in American history. Our 35th President of the United States served from January 1961 until his assassination in November 1963. Although he was young and did not get to serve his full term he accomplished many great things. All these documents embody the beginning of an admirable presidency and the commencement of a new hope for a nation gone forlorn. Kennedy served at the pinnacle of the Cold War and spent a large fragment of his presidency focusing on managing relations with the Soviet Union.
November 22, 1963 will always be a day to remember. President John F. Kennedy was riding in a motorcade in Dallas Texas. Where he was shot twice, one in the back of the neck and the other hit him on the bottom right side of his head. The governor of Texas JOhn Connally was also struck by one of the bullets in the chest but he recovered from his injuries. The shooting took place at 12:30 and about 30 minutes after he was pronounced dead at the Park Memorial Hospital.
On November 22, 1963 time froze when the beloved John F. Kennedy was tragically taken from this world. We will be looking at two accounts of the assassination, the first will be the official account AKA, the Warren commission 's report. The second will be from Doug Horne and his 5 volume work with the Assassination Records Review Board. After we have looked at the two accounts I will then tell you what I believe happened.
JFK was an amazing president up until he was murdered. He was in a parade in Dallas, Texas when he was murdered by a psychotic male or female, even though Lee Harvey Oswald was blamed for the murder. Robert F. Kennedy developed his argument about Martin Luther 's King 's assassination by giving details about somethings Martin Luther King Jr wanted to do for people. One thing is that he didn 't put Martin Luther King 's real speech, but he did an excellent thing by informing those who didn 't know about Martin 's assassination. For example one of the things he wanted to change was that all black people should have the same rights as all white people. I agree with this because no one should be treated differently everyone should be at a equal place. He had a dream that he would change all this cruelty for the best!

Many people have different conspiracies on who killed and how they killed the president of their time, John F. Kennedy. Some think that it was one guy named Oswald, some believe that it was the mobs, people also think it was the government. No one has exact proof of what happened that day or who killed him, but here is my conspiracy based off of facts that I have gathered and if I think that it was only Oswald that was in on it. If we go a few weeks back before the assassination occurred, evidence states that Oswald and Jack Ruby were seen at a nightclub two weeks before the president was assassinated. Could they have been planning their plot?
It’s the year 1976, the United States Senate has just called for a new inquiry into the infamous assassination of President John F. Kennedy, who was shot in 1963 during his own motorcade in Dallas, TX while running for re-election. The CIA along with the FBI were coaxed into releasing new documents on Lee Harvey Oswald, and individuals who had not given evidence previously were persuaded to come forward. Pieces of evidence such as sound recordings and photographs were being subjected to scientific research analysis using more modern equipment. In 1979 the House Select Committee on Assassinations, or (HCSA), finally came to a verdict that Lee Harvey Oswald shot three times at the president; one of which, hitting his head and killing him. It was also concluded that a fourth shot was taken from ‘the grassy knoll’, which was something that was contradicting to the statement given by the Warren Commission 16 years earlier.
Conspiracies. The list can go on and on: Area 51 and the “Aliens,” are secret societies controlling the world, were the moon landings faked, the CIA and the AIDS virus, etc. One of the most known and least understood conspiracy is, ‘did Lee Harvey Oswald work alone in the assassination of JFK?’ Although the evidence implied that Lee Oswald in the assassination, some citizens remained unconvinced that he had acted alone. There is substantial evidence showing the likelihood of a second gunman.
John F. Kennedy was one of the greatest presidents and he could have survived if the flaws of so many people weren’t in place. There was so much fear in both of these tragedies, and the fear of death was definitely great. The changes that happened changed not only the people directly affected, but people that were not even related to these tragedies. If these things would not have happened think of how those changes might not have happened. Flaws in people cause the tragedies that we know today and those flaws can cause so much pain and
John F. Kennedy was a well know person in the United States. He was America 's 35th President from January 20, 1961 to November 22, 1963. Sadly his life was cut short in a trip to Dallas, Texas. The gunman was later founded and arrested but never stood trial because he was later killed. FBI release that it was a lone gunman work but many people say that there was another person involved in another build.
John F Kennedy was a level headed, determined and well accomplished person. During his short-lived presidency, he had to take on challenges like no other and did it with sophistication and grace. From conflicts involving other countries, like Vietnam, to the Civil Rights Movement that directly affected our own country, Kennedy continued to take each problem day by day until there was an overall improvement or resolution. It would be safe to say that he is one of the more progressive presidents our country has ever seen. David Burner’s John F.
