Reflection from Stake holders (FGD) on the Effectiveness: Most of the stake holders has good relations with apex body leaders and members of mixed SHGs. Some of the members of WOSHGs are known to them as tey are the representatives of apex body. They also mentioned that most of the times, the male member of the groups leads the discussion and negotiations during the meetings or individual contacts with them which makes the women only SHGs a bit invisible and the issues of Women With Disabilities have diluted in the common issues.
Analysis and ssignificant observations: More than 70% of the plans are implemented timely in WOSHGs when its almost 70% in the mixed groups that means, despite all the barriers, WOSHGs has proven their efficiency …show more content…

Question no. 2.8 shows that the professional skills have been improved 64% of women members in mixed groups when it is 81% for Women Only SHGs. It indicates, the WOSHGs are more focused on women development and have the potentials to bringing out the excluded women with disabilities to the mainstreamed livelihood activities.
Poverty eradication programs of GOs and NGOs must include clear targets on maintaining and creating decent work and livelihood opportunities for all, including persons with disabilities. Equality, human rights and sustainability must be core principles for promoting decent employment and universal social protection. Affirmative action should be taken for women with disabilities considering the intersectionalities between gender and disabilities.

3.9 Though 6 women members (Mixed: 3, WOSHGs:3) are somehow involved with political parties but still no members from WOSHGs are in school, market or religious institution management committee in six working areas. It shows gender based exclusion of Women with Disabilities in social management system. It reflects the patriarchal mind set of the society that promotes the stereotyped role and distribution of work for men and women where the men will manage the society and the women will be confined with the household works.
The analysis mentioned above reinforces that the future program should support gender equality and recognize the intersectionality between gender and disability. Intersectionality of gender and disability is crucial to be analyzed because Women and girls with disabilities make up a significant percentage of the world’s female population; yet their experiences and issues, which are mostly similar to those faced by all women and girls, have traditionally remained invisible from both disability and gender
