The civil rights movement in 1963 was just blossoming and national awareness of the injustice in the south was not stellar. The bombings helped to bring awareness of the racial injustice in the south. The Church Bombings can be summed up into three main events, the background of the bombing, the events of the bombing itself and the significance it had towards the civil rights cause.

One of the Darkest Days in Oklahoma On April 19, 1995, one of the deadliest attacks on our nation happened in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The attack happened on the Alfred P. Murrah Building at approximately 9:00 A.M. A Ryder rental truck that was parked in the front of the nine-story building in downtown Oklahoma City caused the explosion.
“The sidewalk was covered with heaps of broken bodies, 63 in all... They discovered 19 bodies melted against the locked door and 25 broken and burned bodies were pulled from atop the elevator.” (Pence et al. 410). This horrific description is not from a work of fiction, but instead from the fire at the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory in New York City on March 25, 1911. The factory employed hundreds of workers, mostly young, immigrant girls.
Birmingham jails were full, and police were concerned they weren't going to be able to contain the protesters and it resulted in them using water hoses on the mobs of people injuring many people. The protest in Birmingham left so much impact "President John F. In Kidd’s novel, The Secret Life of Bees, the author alludes to a bombing of a Baptist church in Birmingham to emphasize the terror that multiple characters, such as May, felt. In the novel, August clarifies the meaning of the wailing wall to Lily with one of the events that caused May’s sadness, “Birmingham, Sept 15, four little angels dead” (98). To further explain, the church in Birmingham had a large African-American congregation and served as a meeting place for civil rights leaders. Therefore, the Ku Klux Klan felt intimidated, so on September 15, they bombed the church and killed four little girls. So with the result of that, the Ku Klux Klan members hoped to scare African-Americans from trying to earn their civil rights.
Leo Frank was a white, Jewish, superintendent of a pencil factory in Atlanta, Georgia where the body of Mary Phagan, one of the factories’ workers, was found. The murder of the thirteen year old girl prompted outrage in the city of Atlanta and around the country, and in a highly controversial trail, Leo Frank was quickly given the death sentence. Frank’s sentence would later be changed to life in prison, but while he was in a jail hospital, a mob broke in and lynched Frank on the outskirts of Mary Phagan’s hometown. The trial of Leo Frank is unique in both its ability to spark controversy up to the present day, and its ability to highlight the social tensions of America and Atlanta, one of the countries busiest cities. Their goal was to create a clandestine revolutionary party for the overthrow of the U.S. government. Led by Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, the Weathermen issued a "Declaration of War" against the United States in 1970. The group believed that "revolutionary violence" was necessary to combat what they perceived as a "war" against African-Americans, and military actions in Vietnam and the invasion of Cambodia. The group was responsible for over 30 bombings, including the United States Capitol, the Pentagon, the State Department building, and several police stations in New York City and San Francisco. One police officer had been killed in the San Francisco bombing.
On December 2nd, an incident happened in San Bernardino that shocked the nation. Although, we see a shooting on the news almost daily, the 2015 San Bernardino shooting that killed fourteen people and harmed twenty-two others still took America to a shock. The shooting consisted of two people, who happened to be married and had a six-month-old child, went into a mental hospital facility and opened fire on the patients and staff that worked or lived there. The male of the couple happened to work for the hospital but nobody knows the motive behind why the couple did what they did.

Some even has bombs strapped to themselves. Six+ locations were attacked. One was at Stade de France where an explosion went off north of the stadium during the soccer match between France and Germany.
On April 15, 2013 The Boston Marathon Bombing happened in Boston, Massachusetts Patriots Day a Holiday in Massachusetts, the start of Revolutionary War (1775-1783) The Boston Bombing damaged many of eardrums, within 20 minutes of the attack, patients began to roll into the hospital, sometimes two people in one ambulance, and many were losing so much blood, that they were within minutes of death Doctors worked Fiercely to repair severed arteries and damaged blood vessels, close gaping wounds. In many cases they had to amputate legs because injuries were so extreme 40 or more patients brought to the hospital survived. In total 264 people were injured in the explosion at least 14 of them lost their limbs. Three died on the way to the hospital plastic surgery and skin grafts to close wounds some also fought off life threating infections.
A prayer vigil was held at Chapel of the Chimes in Oakland on Saturday night in the memory of Oakland warehouse fire victims. The fire at the converted warehouse which was packed with 50-100 youngsters dancing to electronic music claimed 33 lives. "They were amazing and I'm sorry for everyone's loss," said Genevieve Griesau, whose four friends were still missing after the fire. "It's mind blowing, heart breaking."
The Provos operated under a structure strikingly similar to a military chain of command. It had divisions of size in various brigades, battalions, and companies. This may be because of the fact that males are more attracted to high-risk behavior and revenge.
From Boston to Devastation “We are Boston Strong”(Buzzfeed). On April 15, 2013, two terrorist created bombs to go off at the Boston Marathon finish line to injure and kill people. To add on, the two bombers names are identified as Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev, and Tamerlan Tsarnaev. They were born in Tokmok, Kyrgyzstan, but later became a U.S Citizen in 2012. The Boston Marathon Bombing occurred causing tragedy, and to break this tragedy down further is through the plot, the attack, the manhunt, and the victims.
The Oklahoma City bombing was a domestic terrorist truck bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, in the United States on April 19, 1995. To comfort the American people and show the families of the people who died that the American people are mourning with them, former President Bill Clinton issued a memorial address. I believe this was necessary and his speech was effective on the grounds that President Clinton was able to create an emotional connection with his audience by ensuring a sense of comfort and giving advice to the many Americans who were astonished by this act of terrorism. Creating an emotional connection with a certain group of people after a traumatic experience is important.
