Now-a-days direct tabletting technique is gaining more importance in Pharmaceutical manufacturing because it save money and time for tabletting but Good flowability and compressibility is prerequisite for drug to be prepared by direct compression. There are several techniques available to impart desired compressibility to drug but the Spherical crystallization technique is the most promising one in which the drug crystals are modified using different solvents to directly compressible spherical agglomerates. Spherical agglomeration is particle engineering technique which involves the transformation of fine crystals into spherical shape which in turn enhances the powder properties such as particle size, shape, flow properties, solubility and bioavailability of pharmaceutical drug substances. The spherical crystallization further developed use with hydrophilic polymers to enhance dissolution …show more content…
Hence spherical crystallisation process can be defined as: “A novel particle engineering technique by which crystallization and agglomeration can be carried out simultaneously in one step to transform crystals directly into compacted spherical form” OR, “An agglomeration process that transforms crystalline drug directly into compact spherical forms for improving the flowability, solubility and compactability” Agglomeration is a particles technology process which involves the aggregation of smaller crystals to form bigger particles. The bigger particles are important for properties such as filtration, drying, washing etc. and the end properties such as dissolution, product formation and
In a capitalist world, there are many opportunities to succeed, but an individual must be willing to work hard in order to ascend the social ladder. In Nickel and Dimed by Barbara Ehrenreich, she undergoes an experiment to see whether or not the average low-wage worker can get by in America. Ehrenreich claims that based on the wages that the low wage worker receives, he/she can not really get by and thus they don’t really have a way to get up out of poverty. However, the working poor do in fact have an opportunities to succeed, such as working up the corporate ladder from the bottom and saving money to build wealth, making Ehrenreich’s argument invalid.

Minerals 1. The minerals under the DRI for my age group would be calcium, potassium, sodium, copper ,iron, magnesium, phosphorous, selenium, and zinc. The mineral that comes below the DRI would be be potassium. However, it is not more than 80% below the DRI. However I did have a low potassium intake.
Molecular Structure Lab Report: Determining Polarity Instructions: For this investigative phenomenon, you will investigate why certain substances, such as oil and vinegar, don't mix. To do so, you will combine various compounds, compare their solubility, and determine their polarity. Fill in each section of this lab report and submit it to your instructor for grading.
INTRODUCTION Baraboo, Wisconsin is one of the most geologically interesting locations in the world. With the mere act of hiking to different locations, one is able to see structures spanning from around 1.6 billion years ago to the end of the Ice Age all in the modern day. Over massive scales and over long time periods, Baraboo exhibits a variety of features, from a double plunging syncline to a rock made of two different types of metamorphic rocks. The location has once had volcanoes, mountains, and the entire ocean covering all but a few sea stacks.
The Identity of the unknown, in this case unknown A, was determined to be acetyl salicylic acid. This was determined by comparing the melting points of the purified unknown crystals to the crude unknown. The known melting point range for acetyl salicylic acid is 135°C -136°C. The Unknown’s melting point was slightly off at 128.6°C - 132°C. This can be due to impurities of the crystals during the purification process.
State the Problem Which concentration of sugars makes the best rock candy? Gather Information Rock Candy is an old type of candy because it was around for billions of years. rock candy has tons of sugar but the main resource is the water.
In the empirical data above the mean percentage of water in the iron salt crystal was 6.27%. The mean percentage of the potassium ion was determined to be 17.81%. For the iron ion the mean percentage was 12.20% and the average percent for oxalate was 57.20%. The total percentage of the mean adds up to 97.28%. The empirical formula using the means provided created the formula K2Fe(C2O4)3
GOLF GLOVE SIZING Golf gloves are designed to fit like a second skin, tightly around your hand and fingers. To determine your golf glove size, measure the circumference of your glove hand around the knuckles. If you 're right-handed, measure your left hand. If you 're left-handed, measure your right hand.
When writing or reading a book or a movie, ever think about how much past experiences can shape a person’s behavior and attitude? Well, it greatly affects the shaping of a person’s behavior and attitude. In A Single Shard, by Linda Sue Park, Tree-ear is an orphan whose parents had died from fever when he was very young. Being raised up by Crane-man, his foster father, Tree-ear did not learn a lot about his real parents. Because of this, he will want to do anything to learn more about them.
Chapter 2 Fundamental Building Blocks: Chemistry, Water, and pH 1. Cells that make up complex living things do what they do because of a chemical reaction 2. Repulsion & bonding, latching on & re-forming, depositing & breaking down what makes people plants and birds function at this level is chemistry 2.1 Chemistry’s Building Block: The Atom 1. Matter could defined as anything that takes up space and has a mass 2. Mass it’s a measure of matter in any given object 3.
Domperidone (DOM), C22H24ClN5O2, is an antiemetic and prokinetic agent used in treatment of nausea and vomiting for decades (1, 2). It has also been used for the treatment of migraine (3, 4), gastroparesis (5) and functional dyspepsia (6). DOM is structurally related to butyrophenones. The antiemetic properties of DOM may be attributed to its dopamine (D2) receptor-blocking activity in chemoreceptor trigger zone and at gastric level. As a prokinetic agent, DOM increases esophageal and gastric peristalsis and improves antroduodenal coordination which facilitates gastric emptying (7, 8).
The periodic table is a much more interesting concept than people give it credit for. Periodic means the repeating according to some pattern. The first periodic table is very different from the modern one. They are both very interestingly organized. The periodic table has the elements on them.
The Diverse Parts of Macromolecules in Science There are four sorts of macromolecules that I am going to portray: Proteins, starches, lipids and nucleic corrosive. I will likewise depict the capacities and why they are critical in our bodies. Proteins Proteins are polymers of amino acids that are joined head-to-tail in a long chain that is then collapsed into a three-dimensional structure one of a kind to every sort of protein. The covalent linkage between two contiguous amino acids in a protein (or polypeptide) chain is known as a peptide bond.
