As long as humans have inhabited planet Earth, there have been interpersonal problems stemming racism, which is why I chose to eradicate this invisible barrier. It poisons our thoughts and incapacitates our reason. I think back to history class when we discussed times of extreme racism, such as the Holocaust, slavery and racism. It bewilders me to learn that people had that mindset on a large scale, everything Hitler did in Germany was “legal”, and Jim Crow laws were real, and people were dehumanized and traded like common beasts. Although society made strides in a commendable and virtuous direction, still it has not arrived at equality.
