As I approached the entrance of the store I saw that the sidewalks and the parking lot were both clean and free of any type of trash or debris and the windows and glass doors of the entrance to the store were clean with no visible dirt or smudges. There was a sales promotion in the window that advertised their current 24 month interest free promotion. I entered the store and began to browse in the section where the bedroom sets were located, I noticed that the furniture was nicely arranged, with decorative pillows and other accent pieces that really helped to enhance the bedroom sets. I said that I was looking for a new bedroom set, he said that I was in the right place and asked if there was a particular style that I had in mind. I said that I was open and he began to explain about their promotion. I saw a bedroom set that I liked, but Bob was not able to help me to visualize what my purchase would look like in my home and he did not demonstrate or inform me of the expectations or helpful information and care of the products, he did not explain the Ashley lifestyle and merchandising areas, and he did not explain the Ashley story to me. I told Bob that I liked the furniture but what if I get it in my home and I didn’t like it? I asked what the return policy was, Bob said that if I saw the furniture and I did not like it that I could simply not sign for it. But if I signed for the furniture then it could not be returned, but he did not follow up with any questions about my concerns. We continued to look at the bedroom sets when Bob asked if I would be needed a new mattress. I told him that it had been a while since I had purchased a new mattress so I should probably think about getting one. Bob led me over to the mattresses and began to explain the benefits of purchasing a Tempur Pedic mattress. He retrieved a pillow cover and asked if I preferred a soft or firm pillow. When I entered the parking lot the area was clean and there was not a lot of commotion like you have at some of the other local giant grocery stores. I was able to park and go into the store with no problems. When I entered the store it was a nice open space unlike some stores again, when you come in the door there a lot of products lined up tempting you to buy items that were not attended to be purchased.
