Time and time again people wonder if Industrialization had a greater negative or positive effect. Although Industrialization brought many good things for everyday lives, it also had negative effects. While some might argue that Industrialization had primarily positive consequences for society because new job and job opportunities, it was actually a negative thing for society. Spaces must tolerate movement and noise generated by the child. Children, like adults, are influenced in how they feel and behave by the total environment and the physical setting in particular. Adults notice order and cleanliness; children notice small spaces to crawl into or materials to make something out of. A large open area may be an invitation to run if it is of the right scale and proportion; but it also can create sense of fear and loneliness if the proportions are beyond in relation to children.

Hospital births and midwife assisted home births are two substantially different methods to achieve the same goal, a healthy and safe childbirth. Obstetricians are trained to view childbirth as a medical procedure, but Midwives are trained to view birth less clinically. Midwife assisted home births are more oriented towards low risk routine pregnancies while hospitalized births are more wide-ranging. Since the introduction of midwives, in 1955, media has played a huge role of influencing mothers on deciding on the type of childbirth they want to participate in.
It is very important to establish a routine as an early year practitioner. Routines will support the physical care needs of children. It should provide a predictable and well-ordered environment, children know what to expect. They are comforting and provide regularity, especially for babies as they enable them to adjust to their own body rhythms. Infant Massage is a parenting practice that has been passed down from ancestors all over the world including places such as India, Africa, South America, and Asia. Infant massage came to be in the United States by Vimala Schneider McClure in the 1970’s. While in India, McClure observed mothers practicing massage on their infants and saw that it had a positive effect. McClure then went on to found the International Association of Infant Massage. She spread the word about infant massage and helped new mothers learn the importance of using these new techniques in caring for their children (McClure). Infant massage provides many proven benefits through touch and the use of oils not only for the infants themselves but the parents as well.
As expectant women seek non-pharmacologic methods of pain management, hydrotherapy is a good start. This paper will explore the efficacy of hydrotherapy as a pain management tool in labor and how hydrotherapy influences the outcomes of deliveries.
As pathways develop, it will be easier for parents to understand the needs of their babies. By providing them with physical, emotional, and cognitive experiences, they will gain much more knowledge to use in the future. They need room for mobility, for hands-on exploration ( manipulating objects, touching and exploring the world around them), and for communication in increased intervals and for longer periods of time. By exposing infants to these experiences, they will begin to become more comfortable with the world around them, which will encourage their own sensory stimulation and help to develop a connection with their

But if the mother is not ready for all these, or maybe, does not have any knowledge on what to do, the baby’s life might be endangered since the baby needs a special care which only the mother can give.
