Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, and Thomas Jefferson were all wonderful leaders and they all three had an extremely heavy impact on what America, our home, is like today. although all of these men significantly impacted our country, I believe that the work of Thomas Jefferson deserves the most credit and deserves the title as "the strongest president". Yes, George washington was the first president, and he was the one who came up with the idea of the citizen leader, which meant just a normal citizen rose to presidency for their terms and then went right back to living a private life.(father of the nation, paragraph 3) but this doesn't particularly mean he was the strongest president, he merely set the standards for which Thomas Jefferson excelled past. Many people may say that Washington was the strongest U.S. president because befre he was elected president he still did so much to help our country, including being the Commander in cheif of the American Army, and he also helped revise the U.S Constitution, which is outstanding, but …show more content…
Many people consider this victory enough to win Lincoln the title of the strongest U.S President, but i'd have to disagree. Yes, Lincoln did lead us Americans through the most bloodiest and costliest wars in history(the great emancipator, paragraph 6), which easily could have torn the Nation to shreds and left us with nothing, but he also ended slavery in america, and developed the Emancipation Proclimation, even after the death of Lincoln he still had great impact on the country, because his effort lead to the 13th, 14th, and 15th ammendments. (the great emancpator paragraph 7) i'm not saying that Lincoln was not a wonderful president who impacted our country immensely, i am just saying that I believe that Thomas Jefferson takes the crown as the strongest U.S
I believe that George Washington was the most influential president of the first five presidents. George Washington's presidency was the most influential because he was the one who laid down the rules and boundaries for the future presidents, helped to establish a new form of government that gave the power to the people, and helped the colonies to win the Revolutionary War by defeating Lord Cornwallis during the Battle of Yorktown. John Quincy Adams once said; “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader." George Washington inspired the people of the United States to become more than colonists, but to become patriots that would fight for their rights and the rights of others.
George Washington, the best president there was, he supported the country in many ways, whether it was his time in the military, being an outstanding diplomat, his itelligence, or preparing the United States for what it is today. Washington could have had absolute power over the people of the United States, instead he helped established the rules and laws to ensure it will be a free country. He had great communication skills considering he was a founding father and worked well with many other people. He put his heart and soul into this country always, he had intentions to make this country the best.
Abraham Lincoln What President do you think impacted the United States of America the most? In my opinion, Abraham Lincoln had the greatest impact on our country. Abraham Lincoln had been our sixteenth President and had been in office from 1861 till 1865 when he was assassinated. Our sixteenth President did a countless amount of things for us but the biggest to me would have to be the issuing of the Emancipation Proclamation. He had impacted our country with his issuing of the Emancipation Proclamation since it had given free African Americans the right to enlist in the Union Army, had ended slavery in the rebellious states, and had given the Civil War a new meaning which was to end slavery in the United States of America.
There have been debates on which president was the strongest. The top three would be President Washington, Lincoln, and Jefferson. Jefferson is the best because. Jefferson made the declaration of Independance, contributed to the expansion of the country, and had a lot of other accomplishments.
George Washington was a great leader. He had shown his leadership skills in many ways throughout his life, but mainly when he stepped into the role of president. In my opinion, George Washington was the best president the United States of America has ever had because he was the first president. He stepped into a completely new role in a new government system, set precedents for the role, and led our country diplomatically. While Washington was not perfect, as no human being is, he was a great president and proved so in his eight years in office.
When I was informed that I would be writing an essay on the best president in US history, one man immediately came to mind. That man was the twenty-sixth president of the United States, President Theodore Roosevelt. With his major accomplishments in foreign policy, and his work in protecting the environment, that easily qualifies him as the best president. Although some of his accomplishments might not be well known, such as his founding of the National Park Service and the US Forest Service, some of his other accomplishments might be more well known such as the creation of the Panama Canal. Also, he was the youngest president ever to enter office at the age of 42 when his predecessor, President McKinley sadly got assassinated.
There were many great American figures of past and present day. However, the greatest American president in history is George Washington because of the following reasons: he served as a loyal soldier, as the first president, and as a wise political leader and pioneer after American Independence. Around mid-18th century, the thirteen colonies of North America declared independence from the oppressive monarch and his Parliament. They had decided to declare independence from Britain after the Age of Enlightenment, which was an age where people lived out their lives with reasoning and scientific evidence and doubted the idea of theocracy. Inevitably, the war against Britain followed, commonly known as the American Revolutionary War, and George Washington loyally served, first as a soldier, the Continental Army as its leader.
Abraham Lincoln was one of the best US president. He was born into a poor family. Despite his background he was able become president. He starts to self study law. Lincoln had the idea that states do not have the right to leave the Union.
The greatest president that has ever served the United States is George Washington. He was not only the first president of the United States but also the commander in chief of the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. He was victorious over the British and quickly became a hero doing so. He helped draft the constitution and with his leadership and courage. As first president, he become a role model for every other present succeeding him and helped create our countries values that we cherish so much today.
Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, and George Washington all had qualities/accomplishments that made them very strong, successful presidents. Abraham Lincoln was the strongest president of the three. He accomplished the most during his time in office. President Abraham Lincoln was the person to end slavery. He had been firmly against slavery and finally ended it with the Emancipation Proclimation.
Of the many great presidents, Thomas Jefferson was the strongest. Not only was he a great president, but he also was able to be so involved with teh New American Union even after his time in office. He was on eof the first philosophical thinkers that helped for the foundations of the country, he launched the library of congress, and was the one to provide the inspiration and the funding for the Lewis and Clark Expedition, all of which are important factors to every day life even today. Both Linocln and Washington were among the great presidents as well. Lincoln for example "made a stand against the popular opinion of the time, a decision that would divide the nation" (Emily Stone) about slavery that did significantly impact America.
Has there ever been a president as influential as Franklin Delano Roosevelt? Truly Roosevelt was a unique man that lead American through one of its hardest times. WWII threatened world peace and the Great Depression was actively wearing the U.S. away. Few other times in U.S history required someone of FDR's caliber to lead America through such a storm. Roosevelt was undoubtedly meant with much success and love.
This impact on our country sought out the world’s greatest president was in fact Abraham Lincoln. He accomplished and was successful in many aspects while creating a better life that we all live today. Paludan was correct in arguing that he was the best by what he actually completed. While Bradford argued against why he wasn’t the best, and reasons that the Civil War took place. The war opened many opportunities for generations and future presidents to be voted into office.
Over hundreds of years America has had many presidents, some able to complete the tasks at hand, but many were not worthy of leading this nation. President Abraham Lincoln was one of the few who led the United States of America with great strength and courage. Abraham Lincoln was the best U.S. president because he had a great impact on ending slavery and he was one of the greatest natural strategists and leaders of all time. Abraham Lincoln is considered to be America 's wisest president.
