CSR: Corporate Social Responsibility

CSR is corporate social responsibility. By the abbreviation, CSR means corporation becomes responsible towards society. The actual definition of CSR is not yet clear. But according to E U Commission [(2002) 347final:5] “CSR is a concept where by companies integrate social and environmental concerns in their business operations and in their interaction with their stakeholders on a voluntary basis”. CSR is based on the concept of do “good business” for a good society- today and for the next generations. The main aim of using CSR in business is to increase the profits with thinking of society welfare. For the business society is essential who demands.CSR demands a symmetric change. For this, companies need stronger integrative perspective based

Employees are the essential part of business which leads it to success. In today’s time the getting the efficient employees is not possible. So company never wishes to lose them and think for their benefits. Company provide the best facilities to them by giving safety suit and safety shoes. For motivating them, company gives extra bonus for overtime and on festivals. Good machines are providing to them and time to time their maintenance happen so that machines don’t trouble the employee and don’t do any bad effect to environment. Under consideration of employee health, break time is given to them. In many multinational companies, at work Station, company provides good food and clean water to them. And for their families company gives apartments to stay in it. There are many benefits for a business being involved in CSR program. For example, employees love to work with them who are involved in CSR programs. They feel motivated by working with good causes and helping with community activities, with the result their moral value increases and also their performances. In some activities of company, employees from different departments to work together, which improves their relation as well creates good

Corporation also takes care of old persons. Because corporation knows very well the seniors have a lot of experiences with them. And their experiences may very useful for the company profit. So, corporation provides them free house and free medical. And sometime corporation holds art gallery. The income which happens in the art gallery gives to the old age home centers. Also CSR activities of organization do the collections for the victims of natural disaster. They provide them food, get them to the safe places and help them to reconstruct their houses which shattered in the disaster. They help victims to get their life back
