Group Collaboration Introduction: Therefore, exotic pets should be banned in the United States because exotic pets mess up the wildlife, exotic pets are dangerous, and exotic pets are not fit be be in a household. The exotic animals are very dangerous to be around in either a home or the wild. They ruin the wildlife by eating the other food, destroying homes, and killing other animals. The animals should not in in homes because they are bad for humans.
Exotic animals are dangerous in most cases, but people can own them if there areas to keep them in and have some responsibility. It is legal if somebody wanted to own a wolf they could buy one in some places, but with a license and secured fences to keep them in to have more protection. The commentary “Let People Own Exotic Animals” by Zuzana Kukol, and the Article “When Wild Pets Get too Wild, Wolf Run Offers a Home Where They Can Roam” all support owning exotic animals as pets. People should own exotic animals under these rules and still be safe, it is our right.
All living species should be treated with care and respect, no organisms should be made a commodity for the sake of human interest. Exotic animals, which are unusual or rare species such as lions, tigers, and non-human primates – are nowadays kept within households as pets. However, according to research, 98% of the people believe that exotic animals should not be kept as “pets”. Such opinions are due to several reasons that are sometimes supported and other times opposed. Exotic animals should not be treated as pets because they are not completely tamable, they belong to their natural habitat, and they may be transmitting zoonotic diseases to those around them. In contrast, some people believe that exotic animals should be kept as pets to save them from extinction.
Almost every child at, a young age, asks for a puppy or kitten, it is a part of growing up. Instead of a puppy, what if a child asked for a baby chimpanzee instead? Exotic animals are not your typical cats, dogs, or even duck but instead are animals like bears, lions, and pythons. I think people should be allowed to have exotic animals as pets because it is their choice, and exotic animals are not as dangerous as they are said to be.
Exotic animals are animals that stay wild, do not have resources that are easily accessible, and can be dangerous which means that humans should not be allowed to keep them as pets. If exotic animals stay wild then they should not be allowed as a pet. In the text piece entitled “Do You Really Want a Baby Tiger” by Mia Lewis it states “Exotic animals are something else. They are wild animals with wild animal instincts, even when born in captivity”.
The childhood dream of owning a pet monkey or tiger is a common one, but that’s all that owning an exotic animal should be: a dream. Over 10,000 exotic animals are trafficked into the United States each year, a multi-million-dollar industry on the black market. Owning a wild animal may seem fun and exciting, but with the ownership of such a creature, dangerous consequences follow. The ownership of an exotic animal not only puts the owner 's life at risk, but the animal 's and the environments. There is a common theme among people that it 's humanity 's responsibility to preserve the world we live in, yet there are more tigers in captivity than there are in the wild. Despite the consequences of owning a wild animal, many people disregard the
Exotic animals are not good to buy and have. If you buy that cute tiger, it will eventually grow up and not be so cute as it used to be and it will also be dangerous and strong. It’s also a wild animal and it’s very unpredictable, and there are many diseases you can catch from that tiger, and there are many dangers of having that tiger that you can’t forget.
Many people use dogs or cats as their emotional support animal, but there are some that would consider their exotic pets an emotional support animal as well. Exotic pets should not be considered emotional support animals because they can be potentially harmful to the owner and the people around them and are not usually a domesticated animal. Many people enjoy owning pets that could be considered exotic. They feel that it shows wealth and power. Some people even go so far as to consider this
I believe that this will change as you will all take part in the upcoming poll and vote for the right to exotic pet ownership. As a member of the board of “American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals” (ASPCA), I shall provide a comprehensive view of the problem and propose a law that will benefit all parties. Yes, I agree that these animals can be dangerous, but as a part of the state, we should also respect people’s freedom of choice. I am not suggesting to ban all ownership of exotic animals. Instead, a more reasonable proposal will be to establish a law in order to make sure our neighbors are safe, the animals are safe and the owners are safe.
To go further in depth about how cruel animal captivity can be, most animals are taken away from their mothers and their families. These poor animals are basically being kidnapped. It is a big crime to the human species for someone to get kidnapped and put into the trafficking system. Well, that is what is happening to these animals. They are getting kidnapped by humans and taken across the globe to sell for money.
The animals take over other animals habitats causing the ecosystem to change which is not a good thing. Some of the animals that are brought here could have the same similar habitat that the native animals have and could scare the native animals out of their original habitat. Since the animals ruin the environment people should not release the non native animals. People who are worried about there invasive species getting to big should call someone who deals with wild animals and they will decide what they need to do with the
The majority of the invasive species are introduced through irresponsible owners letting their pets go. If there was a restriction on invasive species easily going out pet store doors, many pet owners would be saved the trouble. If a licence was required, inexperienced people would not even think to just buy an exotic species. With people already currently owning an exotic species that they can no longer handle, their is still an option for them. Every year in florida there is a pet amnesty day in many areas where you can take your exotic species to give up, no questions asked.
Pit bulls, should we ban them? You may know the American Pit Bull Terrier’s have been to bred to fight but this is not true. Pit bulls were not bred for fighting they were bred to work and herd cattle. They only got their bad reputation as fighting dog because of the owners who trained them to be mean and aggressive.
A guest with a disability who uses a service animal has the same right as those non-disability guests to occupy any available room in a hotel, and their assisting animals should not be segregated in a particular area or removed because they are animals. ADA prohibits the discrimination of service animal, and they stand as an advocate for those with disabilities and their assisting animals. Service animals are not pets, or should owners questioned for proof of documentation. Americans with disabilities traveling abroad should always check for accommodation policies, weather service animals will be segregated or be with them before leaving the country.
