Religion in Ancient Mesopotamia Mesopotamia is one of the world's ancient civilization centers that was located in Euphrates valley. In this area initial cities were established gathering the vast number of people under the same or identical ideologies. In this sense, religious beliefs of those people have been one of the deciding factors that mattered to keep them together. Generally speaking religion has always been a component of life and psychology which created a way of living since then. Therefore, analyzing this particular component in very first states of Mesopotamian region is important to study the history and culture of the mankind.
Throughout the course of history, the U.S society has changed dramatically due to numerous historical and cultural events, which have significantly impacted as well as shaped our present. While family structures in the U.S. have changed over time, the history of U.S. family can also be understood from various perspectives since the U.S. society has become more and more diverse.
The Egyptians had gods for every aspect of their lives and afterlives. Although the Mayans had many gods, they also practiced Animism. Both cultures had places for rituals and ceremonies. The gods they believed in were different from each other and some were worshiped more than others. With very few differences, the religious aspects of both cultures influenced both cultures equally.

Mayans were an extremely advanced civilization. Why? Their lives revolved around their religion. Lot’s of acts were done out of the benefit for the gods. Starting with religion and following into, arts, sciences and warfare, each had religion dipped in the roots to show the gods the undying faith of the Mayans.
