The Summer trip
“Where we love is home - home that our feet may leave, but not our hearts.” I left Vietnam in 2013 and went back in the summer of 2016. The feeling of reuniting with my relatives, friend, and family after three years of separation combining with numerous incredible moments and memories is the ingredient that made that trip amazing.Besides, I got a chance to have a trip to Malaysia and Singapore, where the people speak different languages and have different cultures from Vietnam and the U.S. To be honest, The 2016 summer vacation was one of the best experience I ever had in my life The summer trip in Vietnam brought back an countless amount of old memories for me. Some of my friends were shorter than me in 2013 but now is around my height. My grandparent was weaker than before. The city became more energetic, and vacant lands were replaced by tall buildings. Even though I missed the “ good old day,” I preferred life to change to bring a fresh but also unconventional wave to me. From the time in Vietnam, I learned that life would not stay the same, so it is a mandatory factor for an individual to grow up and adapt to it. The journey to Singapore and Malaysia was also a component caused this trip memorable, and there were plenty of reasons for it. We flew to Kuala Lumpur from Ho Chi Minh city and crossed the border to Singapore a few days later. As you know, college students always search for the most inexpensive way to travel because of their financial problem. Therefore, we decided to walk from the city center to our hotel, which is about 3 miles away, after arriving at the airport. Carrying a 25 lbs luggage and walking in a strange city on a hot day with sweat flowing on the face was a terrible idea.
