We woke up full of energy and ate breakfast. My mom had a few more things to pack up. We had to wait for her in the car. As soon as my mom came my dad turned the car on and we started the trip. The roads were very slippery
After we had all ate breakfast, it was time to leave. I was so excited to fulfil my inner wanderlust over the next two weeks, that I had barely slept the last few nights. I wanted to be well-rested, so that I would be able to take in every second of the trip. I decided to take a nap in the car and told my parents to wake me up when we were thirty minutes out from the airport.
We had to wait in line to get tickets for Kira and Grace. Alli and I didn 't have to because we had season passes, which was pretty cool. We arrived at the window where they got a discount because of our season passes. We walked to the gates which were guarded by Gatekeeper, which flies over the entrance. Gatekeeper 's look is better than the ride, because in my opinion the ride is slow and forceless.
We went to the lobby and checked our hotel rooms out. We waited for our bus to pick us up and then drop us off at the airport. I threw another tantrum on the bus because I still did not have my favorite lizard. When we were waiting in line behind a bunch of people, I decided to have a fit about it because we were stuck there for a long time. So my parents tried to calm me down before things got out of hand.
Everyone got up and got ready to go. We grabbed all our suitcases and snack, then packed them in the truck. When everyone was settled in we began our 21 hour journey to Outer Banks, North Carolina. Along the way my family and I watched many movies and slept quite a bit.
My appointment was earlier in the day and Macy’s was at 7:00 p.m. Her hair appointment took forever and I mean forever! She arrived at my house at 11:00 p.m. to pick me up since I was spending the night at her house before we left. I couldn 't believe that I was leaving in less than 24 hours to the Florida Keys specifically Key West. I remember that morning perfectly, Macy and I left to begin our road trip to Florida.
At this point we had been waiting for close to an hour. My brother and I had our videogames to occupy the time and my parents had the radio. Before we knew it we had been waiting for three hours. My parents started to get worried because we were running out of gas and the traffic had hardly moved at all. My dad decided to go out into the snow which was now more like a blizzard to see how far up the traffic was.
I think that about all five of us were set on unpacking and hitting the pearly white sand and crystal clear water. That was all that happened then. The sixth hour was boring because everyone was just ready to get out of the car. The good thing though is that we could smell the beaches. That meant one thing.
My dad and my mom started talking about how the trip was going to be awesome while I was trying to get some shut eye. When we arrived at the airport my mom had to wake me up from another long cat nap. We went through security, got on our plane, and was on our way to another great day in Canada. It took us about 4 hours to get to Toronto, Canada. Once we landed we ordered a car and was on our way to Ontario Canada.
It was getting to the time of takeoff so I saluted the captain and headed toward my seat. I got to my seat and there was a screen where we could watch movies; it was all in English though but they had Portuguese subtitles which helped me. About 10 min into the movie, the plane started to move. I grabbed my mother’s arm and held it tight.
The hours passed, slowly, but they passed. Since my dad didn't go with us, we stayed with my grandma from my mom's side . My mom and I were going to stay in Mexico for a month and a week, something that seemed like eternity at that moment. Weeks went by and before I knew it, it was time to pack my suitcase and get ready to go. I always hated leaving; having to say goodbye to my relatives.
We drove over to the airport the next morning to catch our flight to the tiny Alaskan village of Unalakleet. It was lightly raining as we walked onto the tarmac and into an airplane that held about twenty people. The flight was very bumpy, and the engine was extremely
I full of excitement (Absolute), got to packing as soon as I found out. We got there by driving I believe my parents realized their mistake at about hour two because of hearing "are we almost there" every couple of minutes. We left at night so that we could sleep most of the ride, but I couldn’t, I was so excited. When we finally got there, it was amazing and all I had seen was the hotel room. We stayed in the resort so that things were more continent.
It was a hectic day. My friend had to call and have his grandparents pick him up which took about 45 minutes because they lived kind of far away. During that time, my dad told me “pack your bags, we need to go visit your grandmother” I remember that I didn’t pack much because I couldn’t think. My mom immediately booked us plane tickets to Portland. It was super close but we made the flight.
Everyone was wondering what the Philippine would look like and how we were going to build houses. After the pilot made the announcement of taking off, the plane lifted off the runway. We arrived in Manila at night, everybody was so exhausted that we went to bed as soon as we reached our
