There was a time when our lives were peaceful and slow paced. There might not have been as many things of comfort as there are today, but it meant more time with family and near and dear ones. Today's life is fast paced. As our civilization is becoming more and more economically progressed, we are becoming exceedingly busy with their careers and almost no time for family. This quest for achieving more and more often leaves us with no time for ourselves and excessive pressure at work leads to stress and anxiety. It has been proved by science and modern medicine that stress and tension leads to cardiac problems, affects the nervous system, sets in early aging and can cause severe health damage to the body in the long run. Ginseng extract is used in making capsules which can be consumed as a daily tonic for overall health benefits and relieving daily stress. Ashwagandha, also known as the Indian Ginseng, has almost similar benefits as of Ginseng, hence the name. It grows mostly in India, though it is also found in Africa and the Middle East. For its wholesome benefits, ashwagandha has also been accepted as a medicine in the west. It derives its name from a strong odor which resembles that of horses, hence the name ashwagandha, 'Ashwa' in Sanskrit means horse and 'Gandha' means odor.
