Hades When Hades was born he was devoured by Kronos along with the four of his siblings. Later on zeus made Kronos disgorge them. Hades was 1 of 5 of Kronos's son’s. Hades was the king of the underworld. Hades did not kill he just ruled the underworld. Hades received the third portion, the dark dismal realm of the underworld, as his domain. Death was Thanatos’s job, well more like taking their life and sending them to the underworld. Hades was also the god of the hidden wealth of the earth, from the fertile soil with nourished the seed-grain, to the mined wealth of gold, silver and other metals. Hades petitioned for a bride and he got persephone, the daughter of Demeter. Persephone only lived with Hades for part of the year and at her own home
Persephone married Hades and spent 6 months with Hades and 6 months with Demeter. When she was with Demeter, It was Spring and Summer. When she was with Hades, it was Fall and Winter.
The poem, “Hades to Persephone”, describes how Hades pleads to Persephone for her to “Convince [him] that [she] want to be here; / It’s not [his] trick that keeps [her] so near. / [She] chose [him]. [She]

He decided to take risk and go to the underground world. Dipalus' father told him to go to Zeus first for an advice. While Dipalus went to Zeus in Mt. Everest. Zeus told him that Hades is a devil monster with bloody face and nine legs. Hades was also very strong, and could beat anyone up.
Ruler of Tartarus Screaming, crying, burning and horrible sounds of torture underground in the dark and gloomy underworld or also known as tartarus this is where the most infamous god of Greece ruled. Hades was the son of Cronus and Rhea and the brother of all famous Zeus and Poseidon. These gods all had a throne on mount olympus were the greeks believed they sat and watched upon them. Hades the sunless unwelcoming god also known as the god of wealth received the underworld why Zeus got the sky and Poseidon got the ocean this is what lead to hades to become the sinister ruler the Greeks believed in.
However, Hades does not favor such people entering and leaving his kingdom as they please or favor them stealing from him. Heroes managed to be shown mercy due to the persuasion of Persephone. However, thieves were a different story. Pirithous was force to sit in the chair of forgetfulness for attempting to take Hades wife, Persephone. Hades is both an aggressive and passive god in Greek mythology.
A sinner condemned in Tartarus to an eternity of rolling a boulder uphill then watching it roll back down again, Sisyphus was founder and king of Corinth, or Ephyra as it was called in those days. He was notorious as the most cunning knave on earth. His greatest triumph came at the end of his life, when the god Hades came to claim him personally for the kingdom of the dead. Hades had brought along a pair of handcuffs, a comparative novelty, and Sisyphus expressed such an interest that Hades was persuaded to demonstrate their use - on himself.
He then used his powers to strike fear into mortals, his powers then grew very strong stronger than Hades. He then decided to visit mortals in their dreams and turn them into nightmares. The more fear he struck into the mortals
On a reading of the Homeric Hymn to Demeter which regards Persephone, Demeter's daughter, as being representative of spring, the myth of Persephone's kidnapping by Hades can be interpreted as allegorical of the changing of the seasons. In particular, Persephone can be considered as a metaphor for the planting of seeds. While she is kept underground in the realm of Hades during the winter, no crops are grown and the land is barren. However, as the winter transitions into the spring Persephone emerges from the underworld, much like a budding plant, and reunites with her mother and the other Olympian gods and goddesses above ground. When Persephone is relegated to live with Hades she falls into a depression and becomes, figuratively speaking,
The constellation that I chose was Hercules because not only was Hercules my favourite movie as a child, but it was one of the most interesting things that I learned about in muggle schooling. This constellation was first discovered in 1714 by an English astronomer, Edmond Halley, which was also included in Messier's catalog as Messier 13 on June 1, 1764. Hercules is the 5th biggest constellation in the sky, although the constellation has no first or second magnitude stars. The brightest star within this constellation is Beta Herculius (also known as Kornephoros), it is a yellow giant of magnitude 2.8 and is about 148 light years away from Earth. The creation myth behind this constellation started with the birth of Hercules, the son of Zeus
One of the strongest mortals was Hercules. Hercules was stronger than most of the gods. Hercules was so strong he was the reason the Olympians won their battle with the Giants. Hercules was said to be Zeus’s last mortal son. Thebes, Greece was where Hercules was born.

The begging of gods starts with Zeus. Zeus is the god of the heavens and his also known as the ruler of all gods and mortals. Zeus is one of the most important gods because he saved his sibling from his dad and they became the Olympian gods. If he never exists there would be any of Olympian gods. He also establishes law and order, he looks after people wealth and is a father figure to all the gods.
The only thing standing in his way was Hercules, so he sought to kill him. In the original version of the story, Hades was not Evil, and was only known as the Guardian of the underworld, and was not a main
Whether it be Hel’s and Hades’ similar terrible upcoming, strange pattern of abducting, or their usage of servants and fellow canines, it is clear that these cultures and gods, although far apart, weren’t all that different. Their difference in dealing with the dead and variability with the features of their homeland also solidifies that these societies and gods were in their ways, unique to each other. By using these detailed comparisons you have opened up the door into a whole new world of
