Needles are a big hazard if not thrown away after use. If they are left lying around someone else it can pass on symptoms if they someone who used it before had diabetes or maybe even HIV, it can even cause an infection. This is a health hazard. Another hazard is if there is no hygiene in the hospital, someone could become seriously ill. For example if nurses or doctors don’t wash their hands after helping another patient and then move on to the next, the patient could catch something. Another harm is that another infection could be passed on if the room has not been wiped down someone else could come down and lie down and catch the infection which makes it a health hazard.
Down syndrome is a condition which extra genetic material slows down the way in which an individual develops, both physically and mentally. As stated by the NHS; each individual with down syndrome is affected differently and can vary, some may need a lot of medical assistance whereas others may lead a normal healthy lifestyle but share similar characteristics. Delayed development: All service users with down syndrome has some degree of learning difficulty and delayed development, however, this varies between each individual. Having down syndrome they may experience some health problems which may effect them in every day life. However yet again each individual is different some may have more health problems than others.

Successful CC =1 CM received a call from Jennifer Wisely (DCP&P worker) for Alexia (youth). CM discussed her concerns with DCP&P. CM was informed that DCP&P met with Ms. Marshall (caregiver) and DCP&P is closing youth’s case before Friday, 3/17/17. DCP&P stated that they were open with the family due to child welfare; DCP&P reported no neglect from family. CM informed DCP&P that CM is unable to reach caregiver and needs to schedule a meeting for this month. DCP&P noted she will contact caregiver and have her call CM regarding this matter.
