The great depression had a negative impact on the lives of Americans. The great depression effected people all through out the nation, it was a global event. Many lives were greatly negatively affected. First off the great depression left many people homeless with no money or food. Family roles changed men struggled to find jobs. They were all very desperate. It was all the classes that were desperate not only low and middle even high lass men were struggling to find food ad take care of the family. Some men even left their families because they could no longer support themselves or families. The women tried to make ends meet with what they had but it wouldn’t always work out.
