Transition Management is process of on-boarding of new accounts, setting up operations, management systems and transfer of people, assets, processes, tools and technologies, using a standard set of methodologies.
Transformation Management is the process whereby IBM set up the processes, tools and systems for supporting client IT environment using a standard set of methodologies.

IBM will develop and support apps for iPads and iPhones and sell them to its enterprise customers. This will help IBM to infiltration deep into the enterprise market and also show case the world IBMs CAMS (Cloud, Analytics, Mobile, Social) ability.
Both Apple and IBM were struggling to break into the corporate market, with most offices around the world preferring to use Microsoft’s Windows platform. Apple and IBM's shared vision to deliver next generation mobile technology that brings IBM’s data and analytics capabilities to Apple’s iphone and ipad.

BlackBerry smart phone once was corporate clients favourite but their market share dropped at an alarming rate in recent years and Apple-IBM deal gives a huge opportunity to cash in large number of corporate customers and get them to switch to its iOS platform.
Apple’s business services have been seen as lacking in comparison to those offered by its rivals and IBM also need a platform to show case the world its cloud and analytics potential . These two giants agree to establish and share the ownership jointly of a new business. IBM cloud services tailored specifically for Apple iOS, will allow IT departments to manage devices, security and analytics in a more efficient manner.
