Summary “iPhone 6S Plus in short supply due to production issues,” is the title of my chosen article as of September, 2015. On 9th of September, Apple has revealed its next-generation iPhones which includes the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S Plus. According to Apple, demand has been great for the new models, particularly the iPhone 6S Plus with an estimation of 1.5 million to 2 million units for sale on its launch day. Unfortunately, consumers seeking to purchase the iPhone 6S Plus on its 25th September launch day may experience difficulty buying one. The title says it all, iPhone 6S Plus has been limited its availability as its backlight module, a component that supplies light to the screen , is facing production problems. This has led to limited supply of the iPhone 6S on its launch day and delayed shipping for preorders of the new products. Furthermore, Apple has stated its concern for this issue as the limited supply may potentially drive smartphone consumers to contemplate other alternatives. To resolve this matter, Apple has transferred its module production orders to a supplier named Radiant whom has worked with Apple previously.

In the case of iPhone 6 and 6S, these products are considered luxurious goods, with price ranging from $ 549 - $ 649. Luxuries tend to have an elastic demand as people are more price sensitive towards it because they are not necessities and have several substitutes. Nonetheless, this has not always been the case as iPhones are starting to be regarded as necessities for loyal consumers of the Apple brand and this may override consumers’ responsiveness to price changes. The brand has grown so strong that numerous of consumers are willing to pay premium for their products, thus, a significant price change would not cause a huge change in its quantity demand, resulting in more inelastic
In this case I will be investing $100 and the assumption is that it will be compounded monthly. Investing that for 5 years earning 5% p.a interest. My interest percent monthly will be 0.05/12, and I would get .0042%. Number of payments that is 12 months times 5 years for the first scenario to get 60 total payments. My payment is as discussed earlier of $100.00 a month.
I’ve got some feedback on Barron’s draft: 36-521.02.B – This subsection says we can hold the patient while the screening agency (SA) reviews the application, which is good. However, we want to hold the patient while we make the application to the SA, too. We’d be fine with a timeframe for the hospital to make the application. 36-521.02.D – We have two comments here. 1) As drafted, the subsection says that if a Certificate of Hold is issued by the SA then a hospital can hold a patient for 9 hours, once medically cleared, while waiting for transport to the SA.
Florida courts are plagued with too many people appointed or elected who are entrusted with the sole responsibilities of doing out justice in their public official capacity, who often times suffer from the common syndrome of lacking the ability to separate the administration of justice from the imbuing of their very own interest and passion. Court Judges, prosecutors, and even law enforcement officers very often cannot resist the urge to impart their very own passions and interest into the administration of justice. Far too often an individual’s social, background, and even financial status plays a significant role into the courts official’s decisions and administration of justice. The decision to impose a stiff penalty as oppose to showing
Popularity of Phone is seeing a steep rise. It is a communication gadget which can be used for different purposes. Further it can be connected to the internet too. With all these features iPhone has gained prominence globally as a hi-tech mobile phone.
T-Mobile offers the iPhone 6 for $549.99. T-Mobile also offers installment plans, $37.08 for 12 months and 27.08 for 18 months. The price for a single line on T-Mobile services would be $50.00 with one GB of internet and unlimited talk and text. Sprint Sprint is the third largest company in the United States. 1) a. current liability: Money that a business owner must pay to a creditor within 12 months of the balance sheet date is a current liability. Ideally, short-term assets, such as cash and accounts receivable, should more than offset short-term liabilities, such as accounts payable, notes payable and payroll. If they do, the company 's short-term liquidity position is positive, which suggests the company will likely meet its cash-flow needs and remain a going concern. It is wise for a business owner to remain alert to his company 's current liabilities and the cash and assets that will be turned to cash within one year to meet these obligations. 1) b. Long-term liabilities are due more than a year after the balance sheet date.
Some examples that are inelastic are keyboards and pens. This concept of things being elastic or inelastic can also be incorporated into macroeconomics. Price elasticity of demand refers to the responsiveness of the consumers to a price change. For example some products that consumers are highly responsive to would be buying coffee at a coffee shop because a small price change can affect a large change in the quantity purchased. Since this product is highly responsive it correlates to this product being elastic.
If a global company such as Apple sells their product for a high price in a low-income country, they are most likely going to expect little to no sales at all due to the country’s usual price ranges for that specific product/service. (Czinkota,
Price and demand of an item is significant viewpoint which must be considered by Toyota in promoting economy as price and demand impact purchaser what to purchase. Customer’s demands all the more in lower price and less at higher price. Price elasticity of demand is a measure of the greatness by which customers modify the amount of some item that they buy in light of progress in the price of that item Boyes and Melvin (2012). Price elasticity of demand will help Toyota to decide the amount an
DEMAND CURVE Demand is defined as the different quantities people are willing to buy at different prices. As the price of good increases the demand decreases and vice versa. The law of demand states shows an inverse relationship between price and quantity demanded. The demand curve shows the relationship between the quantity of a good a consumer is willing to buy and the price of the good. The equation for that shows the relationship between the quantity demanded and price is as given below: QD =
Normally, consumers have unique needs that are not similar all the times. Therefore, the company must develop products that can address the unique concerns of the consumers. Evidently, Apple Inc. has been successful in the creating variety of products. However, pricing of the Apple Inc. products tend to limit the ability of buyers to purchase the products. While the company might justify the price of the products, setting the prices too high limits the ability of the willing buyer to purchase the

The paragraph above shows data of a comparison between Apple and Samsung. Apple retail was increasing over Samsung in the smartphone market. Samsung used to rule the mobile market until Apple started its iPhone series. Even now Samsung is trying to give a head to head competition with its new Note series. But Apple being Apple, think different (Apple's tagline) and released iPhone X to blow out every other phone from the market.
In case, the demand fluctuates suddenly we adjust the supply by transporting our excess inventory or take some inventory from other distribution centres where sales are comparatively less. Tesla faces a rush order situation mostly in around festival time. To decrease the lead time, transportation costs and the excess inventory company have decided to invest in efficient and cost effective warehouses.
Today, almost every person caries a smart phone with them and some can’t survive the day without it. There are many companies and manufacturers who build smart phones like the popular ones such as Htc, Nokia, Samsung, Apple, Huawei, Motorola, Sony and many more, but what makes those companies not alike are the phones they release through the years, but are they that different? To compare, let us take an example of two leading rival companies in the field of smart phones, Samsung and Apple, who newly released their flagship devices, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the Apple iPhone 6 plus. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 features a 5.7 inch Super Amoled touch screen, a 16 megapixel back facing camera, an octa core processor with 3 gb of Ram and a 3220 mah battery whereas the Apple iphone 6 plus comes with a 5.5 inch retina display touch screen, an 8 megapixel back facing camera, dual core processor with 1 gb of Ram and a 2915 mah
