"Johnny" Cash or Johnny Cash and known as "The Man in Black", was born on February 26, 1932, in Kingsland, Arkansas. Johnny Cash was an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, actor, and author, widely considered as one of the most influential musicians of the twentieth century. John was one of the best-selling music artists of all time, selling more than ninety million records worldwide. Although he is mostly remembered as a country music icon, his style of music genre embraced rock and roll, blues, folk, and gospel. This mixture led Johnny Cash to be in the Halls of Fame of multiple inductions within the Country Music, Rock and Roll, and Gospel Music genre. Most of Cash's music were themed of sorrow, moral, tribulation and redemption. As he advanced his career as an artist, Johnny Cash was one of the first country artists to take a stand on issues. During his early life, John grew up in a poor farming community in Arkansas since it was during the time of "The Great Depression". Growing up, gospel music and radio influenced Johnny Cash. Being taught on how to play guitar by his mother and a childhood friend, John started writing and playing songs by the age of twelve. John was assigned as a Morse Code operator for the 12th Radio Squadron Mobile of the U.S Air Force Security Service in Landsberg, Germany. In 1954 he was honorably discharged as a staff sergeant. During his Airforce training, John met his first wife named Vivian Liberto. The couple married on August 7, 1954 a month after Cash’s discharge. Louis moved to Detroit in 1924, where ten years later his boxing career began to take off. He won a heavy weight championship and he exploded into the career of professional boxing.
At the age of twenty-one, he traveled to Georgia where he married seventeen year Charlie Marion Lombard (Jacobs, 1994). Cobb and his wife, Charlie had five children: Tyrus Cobb Jr., Herschel Cobb, Shirley Marion Cobb, Beverly Cobb, and Howell Cobb (Jacobs). However, in April of 1913, Charlie began the divorce process. Somehow, Cobb managed to convince Charlie to keep the family together and stay with him.

Summary Johnny Cash was born in Dyess, Arkansas. He recalls his father’s care for them that he could do everything to make a living. At his very young age, with his family they moved to Kingsland to a common farming project put in place by the government. One particular day, Jack the older brother seems to feel unwillingness to go to his job operating a saw. The next day, Johnny’s father comes to get him later that day, saying that his older brother had
