In conclusion, I believe that having personal ethics is key to living a happy, meaningful life. While it was difficult to evaluate what values were most important to me, I found that once I sat down and actually thought about what my life is currently like and what I do in my daily life, it was easy to come up with my core values. I found that having an unbiased attitude towards others leads to my other core values of: honesty, loyalty, compassion, patience, advocacy and respect for others.
1) I was able to reduce my resting heart rate from a 83 to a 77. When I acheived that it put me from the fair catigory into the fit catigory. I did not set a goal to do this but with the extra cardio that i added to my work out helped me to that outcome.
Core beliefs encompass a personal essence of the way in which one sees themselves and all that surrounds them. Of my own core beliefs, one that I am coming to terms with to this day and that I say often to others is to be authentically you. This can apply to every aspect of human existence especially pertaining to participation in society as it truly governs everything including external appearance to internal beliefs and actions. This causes one to be so self conscience and the fault is of societal expectations. This tension is who you think you should be, but relaxation is who you are. To be authentically you is to accept, adapt, and choose what you want other than what is expected of you within reason. Another societal evil that exists is the denouncing of curiosity which brings me to another core belief I stand for and that is to look at everything as if it is your first time seeing it even if you have looked at it a thousand times. Do this and nothing will be boring and nothing is useless. Apply this with the idea that everything you touch turns to gold which without external meaning is a useless idea but placed with a simple object like a rock when you pick it up the gold it turns to is incredible history of earth and its interaction with life. Another example of what I stand for is that the
By Volkswagens falsifying and cheating pollution test by installing “defeat devices” to make their vehicles appear cleaner than they were, they’re now viewed by the public as liars and lose trust from consumers and stakeholders. The created meaning by Volkswagen actions is, they’re a fraudulent organization, which cares more about making money than it does about its stakeholders and safety of consumers. Volkswagen also goes against its huge marketing campaign trumpeting its diesel cars’ low emissions and co create the meaning of its cars not being environmental friendly. I feel the CEO of Volkswagen should issue a public apology owning up to their wrongdoings because a lot of consumers may feel duped. Rhetorically this establishes dialogue

In engineering, several ethical theories are utilized in order to distinguish ethical actions from unethical ones. These theories include duty ethics, rights ethics, virtue ethics, and utilitarianism. While each of these theories focuses on different aspects of moral behavior, they all are based upon the idea that people need to abide by an ethical code of conduct. When examining an engineering case such as the Ford Pinto Case, it can be demonstrated how each ethical theory is applied in practice and how, in many cases, utilitarianism is superior to the other ethical theories.
Volkswagen supports projects that promote culture and art, education, science, health and sport. They believe that as a company with global operations they have a duty of responsibility towards the global society that cannot be fulfilled simply by applying charity. In short, Volkswagen’s code of ethics does help the company in meeting the company’s social responsibility. It’s about making life better for everyone, not just a few. From individuals to communities, environment to enterprise. It’s not about fixing one part, but making sure all the parts work so Volkswagen can move forward

My values include the following: honesty, patience, hardworking, respect, compassion, loyalty and positivity. These values are very important to me because they make up who I am today. Family and friends- I value the idea of keeping family and friends important in my life. For me, family and friends are the ones that will always be there for me when I’m down and will help me when experiencing troubling times. Having some type of support network is important because it reminds me that someone will always be there and I have someone to talk to.
Things that I value are friends, family, church and school. My friends and family are very important to me and I love to have fun with them. Having friends helps me do better at school because then I’m happier at school. Though I argue with my family at
I have grown to understand that my values are a result of my experiences and people in my life and therefore aim to surround myself with people that will influence me positively. My family have always taught me to stay strong in what I believe in and encourage me to be open and honest. They have impacted the way I respond to my experiences as I always receive advice and support from them. I feel a basic responsibility to honour and respect the people in my life. In life I will come into contact with different people all the time, they will have varying beliefs, interests and outlooks. Respecting people is the key ingredient for creating deep relationships and close connections. I believe in treating others with the same courtesy and dignity that I
