1. One Strength In My Writing : One strength in my writing piece is how I did not use conversational tone. In my writing I did not put SO, contractions, I, me, and etc. I did well in editing conversational tone in my writing. 2. Two Weaknesses In My Writing : A weakness in my writing piece is that I put too much information. In paragraph one I put two sentences that were unnecessary because they did not have anything to do with the setting. I need to make my statements specific to question and not adding what is unnecessary. Another weakness in my writing piece is that I need to edit more. There is at least one grammar mistake in each paragraph of my writing, two pairs of brackets and I have two word choice suggestions.
Regarding strengths, I realized that I have the ability to communicate personal feelings through writing. As I move into the future, I intend to fine-tune these competences. I however noted that I have challenges in relation to run-on sentences; I tend to write long sentences that are difficult to understand. By seeking the instructor’s guidance and consulting relevant sources, I plan to methodically eradicate this writing weakness. The English 1010 course has thus enabled me to identify personal writing strengths and weaknesses that I plan to address as time goes

Knowing your weakness and strength is an important thing in life. It can help you succeed by knowing the things you need to improve. In writing, my strengths are in the content of my papers and the conventions.
1) I could not find a Thesis. Throughout the essay, he talks about how college-level writers can most times be boring and repetitive when it comes to their essays. 2) He says the first step is to write down the argument that comes to mind, but to not use it, because that’s probably what everyone else is going to write about. 3) He recommends avoiding obvious content, taking the less usual side and to always write everything as vigorously as possible.
During my years of being a scholar most of my writings have come mainly from research papers. My teachers would either assign a research topic or you could choose your own. Sometimes we even got readings or books that we would have to read and write a paper on. This past semester I took English 1001 and typed papers I had never learned to do before and I also learned how to do an annotated bibliography. These papers were papers like visual and rhetorical analysis.
In “Five Myths About Writing”, the section discussed beliefs that caused issues when students were learning how to write. Four out of the five, I already knew they were false. For example, you have to know your topic before you write. It doesn’t matter what genre it is, as long as you are continuing to write, you can figure out your point throughout time. Many bestselling authors would not know what the ending of their novel was at first.
This strength has developed through the amount of good influences I have had in my life. I use this skill every day at work and in my personal life. This semester was filled with many bumpy roads. I struggled in the beginning of the semester with my writings , as I didn 't feel confident enough to write a well developed writing. I seemed to find myself struggling whereas writing was not my favorable subject. The major errors I had in my writings this semester would be , grammatical errors,work citations, transition words, formatting ,paragraph development, sentence structure , and sentence level issue. Therefore I have set goals to improve my writing in the future.
Here are some questions you should ask yourself when revising and editing your work: Spelling: Is each word correctly spelled? Punctuation: Have you used periods, question marks, commas, colons, and other punctuation marks correctly? Complete Sentences: Are all of your sentences complete, and neither fragment nor run-on sentences? Sentence Structure: Do you vary the sentence structure you use?

Strengths: As a student one of my strengths is organization. I can say I can keep my school materials and notebooks organized in a way that I and others can comprehend. The reason I can say I am organized is because, I have hardly ever had in the past or present any issues with trying to find homework or assignments because I always kept my materials for each class organized and in a place I could easily find. Another strength I have is social skills. I can believe that I communicate with others well in a group.
