Firstly, I would like to express my interest in becoming a member of National Junior Honor Society, for the reason that it means that I will be able to commit to the organization and will be able to take advantage of the privilege of joining the organization. There is so much I would like and enjoy about being involved in NJHS over the course of my lifetime. In addition, we had the chance to develop our leadership skills, character, and citizenship as well as interact with other groups of kids along the way. As a Web leader for the PVMS, I have shown leadership and can contribute to the PVMS chapter of the NJHS in many ways. WEB is where we will be helping kids in PVMS who are younger than us and are 5th graders that are unfamiliar with this
One past leadership position that I held in high school was the presidential seat of National Honor Society. Through this leadership position, I’ve gained communication skills between teachers and fifty students in the organization. I’ve promoted and facilitated community service activities. I’ve also learned to engage actively with colleagues and branch out of my comfort zone, especially when it is something I am passionate about. As the president, I delegate responsibilities to board members that I worked closely with to achieve the organization’s goals.
First, I have an ambition to become a member. I feel I will be an asset to Holly Academy’s Chapter of National Junior Honor Society because I believe I will make the school a better place. I constantly demonstrate leadership in the classroom and homeroom, and in promoting school activities. I also show an appreciation for community service and volunteer work, by volunteering at my local church.
Third, I will serve the the school and community. I 'm willing to take on difficult or inconspicuous responsibilities; I work well with others and I 'm happy to work with others. Over the course of my academic career, I have developed several positive traits that make make me a qualified candidate for National Junior Honors Society. My experience from being in a variety of school clubs and leadership positions has equipped me with the necessary character traits for an aspiring National Junior Honors Society member. I pride myself on being reliable, ambitious, and versatile. I have gained most of these traits through being in positions of responsibility.
At a young age I was taught to always be polite and have good manners and it has stayed with me to this day. I believe this is how I influence others in a positive way. When people witness me being polite it seems to influence them to be polite. By being a part of the National Honor Society will help me reach one of my goals I had when I started high school. Honestly, this may surprise you, but honestly, I am sad to leave the middle school. I have had many good memories in my times at the middle school, but I have also had some not so good memories. Even though I dread coming to school everyday, the teachers, the staff members, and the students make it a lot better. The best memories I have had at the middle school deal with Cougar News, Yearbook, and Junior Honor Society.
The first reason why I should be in National Junior Honor Society is because of my leadership skills. The first example of my leadership skills are applied to my youth group in the Cecilton Parish. I am the treasurer and help with the Ideas for fundraising. We, as a group held a spaghetti dinner for the church and I managed the money and the setting. Pursuing this further, I actively show leadership in school.
I am extremely honored to be eligible for this opportunity to apply for the National Honor Society. Becoming a member of the National Honor Society has been a goal I set for myself since I was a student in middle school. I have been greatly looking forward to this moment for a very long time. Overall, I have worked incredibly hard these last two years to display a positive character and obtain qualities such as leadership, responsibility, and scholarship. I strongly believe I will be a productive and reliable member of the National Honor Society at Harvard H. Ellis Technical High School.
Moreover, I have worked very hard throughout high school to better myself and those around me in the many ways mentioned above. I also serve as a role model, both inside the classroom and out, by pushing myself to accomplish goals even I do not always believe I could, always respecting others and listening attentively to the opinions of people around me, and making an effort to enrich the lives of others. It is a great honor to be nominated as a member of the National Honor Society. There are many reasons why I want to take part in NHS. One reason why I want to be in it is to continue to grow academically with people who have the same goals as me. I want to be encouraged, not discouraged by the people around me. If I get into NHS, it will give me a lot of opportunities to be a leader.

Today I am deeply humbled to be recognized as a potential member of the National Honor Society. To me this means I have exemplified everything you look for in a student who goes above and beyond, not just in academics but in athletics, the community and at home as well. I have not taken this selection for granted, as I believe would be a great asset to the National Honor Society. I am hardworking, honest, reliable and quite charismatic too. The National Honor Society is built upon four founding principles: Scholarship, Character, Leadership, and Service. I have a high school life filled with dedication to these four principles on the Spiritual standpoint, the Familial level, the Community level and finally at the National level. Moreover, I did begin my dedication to these same four principles even before this starting with the Boy Scouts of America and this commitment will continue along with having a rich future when I reach my fullest potential. When I was a junior at JBS Law Magnet I was elected National Honor Society President. This job only was stressful and demanding, however I believed I wanted to do something else. Every year National Honor Society is in charge of the Freshman Mentoring program. The program was designed to pair incoming freshman with upperclassman. The mentoring program was supposed to help freshman adjust to the high school environment.
