We admire someone because of their characteristics. Each and every of us has our own unique traits and qualities that make us unique from others. And these qualities that they possess are the things that we admire of them. I admire someone but my mom is my reason to live. There are certain qualities I admire from my mom that I acquired some of those, and others how I wish I have.
• Perseverance – Achieving something despite of difficulty is hard to establish. One trait that I do not have. But this woman can be a role model for supporting us. She made sure that we got a good education and finished our degree even if we really have financial constraints on those times when my dad passed away. She follows through with the promises she has made in a timely manner. Yes is yes. No is no. she is the same from the outside and inside. She is a very approachable woman. If one needs help, you won’t hesitate to come to her because she is a down to earth person.
• Optimistic – During the review for the upcoming board exam, she gave me a motivation to strive and put extra eagerness to study. She wants to keep us motivated by reading incessantly. One of my styles for easier retention is putting visual aids and so on. One thing I would remember the time when she advice about putting our name with an affix of “RN”. It worked for me since it reminds me all my dreams I would pass the board exam.
• Composure– she is admirable for her determination to get what she wanted to be, a nurse. She spent her entire whole life in serving her students and other staffs. This leadership quality helps us to respond to a situation than to react inappropriately. Being a leader one has to make the decision all thought the day and being composure enables the leader to handle things well and organized. My professor and also a dean still maintain her composure despite all the problems she encountered in school. She still manages to smile, even though there were lots of challenges on her
