I grew up in the Appalachian Mountains, with a rocky backyard. My brother and I came to discover that there were imprints in the sedimentary rocks. Looking for arrowheads was a pass time. This was my first experiences with fossils and artifacts. We found many different shapes within those rocks. I have always had a curiosity for what was here before me. My first career choice was nursing. I became a LPN at the young age of nineteen. The most satisfying job I held in that field was in a nursing home. There I began to become more interested in the past. The stories the residents told of their home land really sparked my interest into where people come from and why they do the things they do. My second career move was massage therapy. The

As a student at Mountain Heritage High School, I started taking classes as a freshman to learn about architecture, interior designing, and landscape architecture. Second semester of my sophomore year, I wanted to become a Dental Hygienist. I started changing my schedules to classes that would help me in dental hygiene. Thankfully, I took a college class that would ease me into the medical field. It helped me to realize that Dental Hygiene is for me.
The 32 feet deep bone deposit easily shows the success of the generations of hunters at this site as well as the evolution of their tools and techniques of the Plains
It was an overall positive experience, and taught me skills I needed for future occupations,
I have always found happiness in helping others ever since I was a little girl. Helping other people when they truly need it the most is one of the most satisfying accomplishments. Again, ever since I was a child, I've always wanted to be a nurse; however, it wasn't until a year or two ago that I discovered information about certified registered nurse anesthesists. Since that discovery, I have been extremely interested with nurse anesthesists.
The path of my dream occupation has been relatively linear. I’ve known since I could ever remember that I wanted to be in the medical field. My grandmother was a nurse and I think her compassion for helping others rubbed off on me. I always looked up to her, so I consider working in the medical field to be continuing her legacy.
My first job offer was in departments I would be crossed trained in women’s health. Which I was super excited about as I was intrigued and ready to learn as much as I could about the female body. Along with
My personal Artifact is a baseball my son and I caught at the Giants game. It is white, round, has red stitches, and is smooth when new, but when we caught it it was beat up and the blue writing on it was smeared. A baseball is small and light in size. It can be thrown at speeds up to 100 MPH, or hit at at speeds higher than 100MPH, so when playing the game or watching you should be paying attention at all times. A baseball is made of a rubber or cork center, wrapped in yarn very tight, covered by white leather with red stitching around the out side, making it a very hard ball.
I learned so much about the history of the caves in South Dakota and how adventurers and scientists explored and mapped the caves. Citation: According to Michel Bakalowicz, a geologic researcher and is a co-author of the 2014 article Thermal genesis of dissolution caves in the Black Hills, South Dakota, “Jewel Cave and Wind Cave are the world’s fourth and tenth longest known caves,
People always ask me “What do you plan on doing after High School “. My response is always “I Am going to become a dental hygienist “. And I say that statement with confidence. That means they clean a lot of yucky teeth, however dental hygienist is also able to perform other jobs like giving local anesthesia to patients, taking x-rays for the dentist to see and giving advice on how to prevent negative oral health issues.
If I had to title the story of my life, it would have to be 2The Chronicles of Hunter. It makes sense to me because of the way my life has been divided up. My life started as a tiny child, living in the suburbs of New York. The years when I had no real clue of the world, no real responsibilities, and would play all day. Those days are the hardest to remember, but 10 to 15 years is a mere blink of the eye to some people.
I worked with young children in the resource room with the staff that included teachers, special needs assistants and an occupational therapist, who routinely visits the school. I found the experience immensely rewarding to see the progress the children made in such a short space of time. I was able to see and discuss the different exercises that the occupational therapist used with the children in order for them to make progress. This gave me a great insight into the work environment and daily tasks of an occupational therapist and it made me realise that I had the personality traits and abilities that suited this career
In this following paragraphs I will attempt to uncover this answer. It began in the small village of Montignac in the year 1940. A settler ventured up a hill and slipped into a hole. Upon doing so, a rock had fallen into the hole, he noticed that it was a very large hole. A few weeks later he had recruited help from a former teacher of his and began an exploration of the cave below.
My eyes scanned the abundant amounts of green that covered the whole place. ‘Who decided this place had to be covered with so many big ass trees?’ Hell, why was the place so damn depressing and dismal here. And another thing, why did I decide coming to Forks was a good idea?
Throughout this course, I have had the opportunity to visit several clinical sites that have all left an everlasting memory with me. Each site had some very unique individuals who all were in a very unique situation. My first clinical site was Our Daily Bread in downtown Baltimore, Maryland. This particular location stood out to me because it is one of a kind and I do not believe I will ever come across another soup kitchen like it. Our Daily Bread has never closed their doors since the day they open.
