ObamaCare is what is going to make this country crash and burn. Once it happens all of a sudden Obama will be nowhere to be found. All the blame will be on him and he knows it to. We have been trying to get a handle on this beginning almost 100 years ago with Theodore Roosevelt. Roosevelt supported heath care because he believed no country could be sturdy with sick and weak people. But the only thing ObamaCare is doing is making our citizens that were doing fine on their own, now suffer. Obama didn’t even come up with the idea himself. It was modeled after the health care reform law implemented in Massachusetts by Mitt Romney in 2006. This man can’t even think for himself! Insurance companies have to cover sick individuals so it increases the cost of everyone’s insurance. What good does this do? Those who pay …show more content…
People that already had insurance were taken off of it because it didn't meet the 10 crucial health benefits. Then their insurance goes up because it puts things in there they may not need such as maternity care. If someone clearly is not going to use something why force it upon them.
Rep. Mike Rogers asked a good question “Why punish the 85 percent who have earned health-care coverage under their employer to cover the 15 percent who do not?” Weather you enroll or not is up to you, but no matter what you do you will get reprimanded. Those who do not sign up will have to pay a penalty. And if you do enroll your choices of doctors and hospitals are limited. The government is able to have access to all your medical information. No one wants to get involved this mess. But millions have already.
Adding ObamaCare can also add to this counties extensive debt. And guess what? This will make the tax payers suffer even more. It all comes back to the working middle class. They are trying to survive and support their families when in reality they are supporting strangers more than their own
The Affordable health care act, popularly known as Obamacare, it’s a law that makes affordable health care available to more Americans since there are million of uninsured Americans and it will be cutting the rising cost of health insurance. Because of this law that grants coverage to everyone, it is increasing the rate of demand and consumer expending, making a great impact in the economy especially to GDP and economic growth. Also, not only there’s an increase in spending but also the labor market has been growing, since the employment rate has been increasing in the health care sector. While providing insurance to every American, it is generating major benefits to the newly insured like improving health, enhancing families security, increasing
The Affordable Health Care Act, also known as “Obamacare”, is basically just Obama trying to make sure that the whole nation has insurance and if they do not have it by January 1, 2014, they will be penalized with a fine. To make insurance more affordable, many Americans are able to qualify for a subsidy that lowers the cost depending on age and income. Also, “Obamacare” made it impossible for insurers’ to discriminate, or charge higher rates, for anyone who has pre-existing conditions or for a certain gender. Medicare will also be easier to obtain due to requirement of insurance. This law was passed in the U.S. on March 23, 2010 by Congress and President Barack Obama.
They say the law should be called “SCOTUS care” instead of Obama Care, because the Supreme Court decided it, and not Obama. The Supreme Court made the decision for the world. There will be times when people think the government is wrong and people have the right to their own opinions, but once again, the government will always win. Yes, the costs will be reduced if states chose to have Obama care or not because some states don’t support it. I don’t think it’s fair
President Obama spoke to the American people that government run health care with higher taxation, larger prices, and letting the insurance agencies operate with little to no rules were “wrong”. It was to improve and provide all Americans with affordable health care and easier access to doctors and medical care and offer subsidies
With those that are insured favoring a moral hazard and overusing the system could lead to a negative impact on our health care system leaving those who truly needing services paying a higher premium or
.” Health reform has the potential to help by providing premium assistance and lowering out-of-pocket costs” (Schoen et al ,2011). Affordable Health Care Act 0f 2010 can also be referred to as Obamacare was implemented to help Americans to have access to affordable and quality healthcare services. It has drastically the number of uninsured and underinsured individuals. Those with chronic medical conditions on high bills with little income and are underinsured between 2003 and 2012 increased by almost 80%, although, they have an insurance plan with inadequate coverage which makes them open to costs they cannot pay.
The United States is the only Western nation that does not authorize free health services to its people. The cost of healthcare to the uninsured is beyond prohibitive, and insurance plans are far more captivated with profit costs, rather
Health care is very costly, but not having any is even more costly. The U.S. is always trying to make healthcare affordable. Affordable health care comes in package that tells you that the insurers will provide to pay for like the mint pay for majority of the medicine you need. Do to the unwanted Obamacare, Donald Trump is trying to create an improved form of Obamacare, but, it is hard because, Trump would rather just get rid of it and start new, but due to the laws that can not happen. The laws state that it can not be abolished, it can only be reformed.
Also, regulating your healthcare does not happen through Obamacare. It will only regulate health insurance and the worst practices of the for-profit healthcare industry. In 2017, when Donald Trump became President of the United States of America, he began the process to repeal and defund Obamacare. Nothing has passed yet, though. There could be another appeal in the future that may include: privatized "block-grants" for Medicaid, age based tax credits, defunding of planned parenthood, the complete eradication of out-of-pocket cost assistance, the eradication of employer as well as individual mandates, and finally the eradication of taxes and lots on
Obamacare or the Affordable Care Act was signed into law in 2010 by President Obama. There are many changes that will and are happening because of this law. Citizens cannot be turned down for coverage because of preexisting conditions, and everyone is required by law to have health insurance coverage. Those citizens who cannot afford coverage will be able to get assistance paying for it unless they are under the poverty level. Those citizens will be able to get Medicaid if their state expands coverage.
Obamacare is really called The Affordable Care Act and it was created to increase health insurance quality and to make sure that anyone including some poor people can afford it. Also, Obamacare requires them to cover for pre-existing conditions. In other people’s opinions they think that some poor people don’t have enough money to pay for health care because they’re not spending it wisely. Some politicians are trying to replace Obamacare with a new medical plan. I think they still should have Obamacare because poor and sick people can afford it and if we get rid of it then those poor people can’t have health care.
Before the Affordable Care Act was put into work, over 45 million Americans were uninsured. The Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, was then made to help those who were uninsured. It allowed people with financial struggles with the same opportunity as everyone else to have a healthcare plan. Even though the law was passed in 2010, it took a full year of back and forth to get it passed in the Senate. Obamacare may help you get coverage, but charge you an annual fee if you don’t have one.
Obama Care also known as the Affordable Care Act signed in by president Barack Obama in 2010, This was to insure that all the Americans will have free access to medical care if they got sick and it would will help reduce the growth of healthcost spending in the country, hence in economic and stability growth among the citizens of America. Right now in the USA the ObamaCare law is a permanent part of the landscape, The USA republicans said that, despite the high court decision upholding various subsidies, the law itself remains the largest and dangerous threat to health care. Although it has its own benefits, Obamacare is increasing costs for hardworking families. Republicans argue that many people have to pay higher costs or see their former policies canceled. Which is leading to poor economy and increasing of debts and deaths within the country.
No one should have to go through that much pain. Boost the economy would be a benefit from everyone getting free coverage. Free health insurance gives sick and dying people what they need to get better. There should be no one just tossed to the side to die. People deserve the right to see what live is really like instead of dying of something so
Insurance companies are making a huge amount of profit. The profit that these
