I started off by believing I will be an educator and that is it. I was wrong. I need to work hard to make my students’ futures better in an academic aspect and in a functional aspect. I want to create a class in high school where it educates students on basic job skills. I want to create a class in high school that helps students get ready for college and help them apply for different post-secondary education.
I, like many older siblings, am committed to helping younger peers grow and adjust to the high school life by giving advice and comfort. Not only will this experience support incoming freshmen with their sometimes intimidating high school transition, but also help me develop as a leader through serving
Growing up in an unfortunate family, I have learned to take my education seriously and apply for organizations to serve as an inspiration. My interest in working with people who have a similar mindset will assist me in making a difference for the school and the community. With my future as a motivation, applying for NHS will definitely give me the proper knowledge and experience that no other organization will. Alongside those reasons, I will work correctly and try my best in order to become a member of
My long-term professional aspiration is to become a school social worker. Once I get to that stage of my life, one my goals is to increase the involvement of parents in the student’s education. More specially, I want to increase the involvement of parents in low-income schools. The reason behind that is because I believe that if parents become more aware of the issues that a student may encounter then the parent or the guardian is more understanding of the issues and they will have an easier time work with not only the social worker but with the whole school as
Passion, my value of education, and my objective to improve the lives of others have driven me to pursue a career in Speech Language Pathology. As a first-year student, the struggle of finding a future career path was evident in my life. I delved into Speech Language Pathology through attending a Kearney Student
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to possibly be a part of National Junior Honor Society. I would appreciate being able to be a part of this group to help better the school and it’s environment for people that work there. This would give me a chance to give back to the school district that has gotten me where I am today and has taught me so much. Scholarship, leadership, character, service, and citizenship are qualities not normally seen in every child today and are big shoes to fill. Starting will scholarship, I have displayed this by maintaining the 93% grade average needed to get me to this point in this organization.
I simply want to be a teacher that makes a difference in the school. I want to be a positive influence, not only on my students but on other staff in the school as well. This article explained many great points that those six schools stand by in creating a successful environment for their Hispanic students and I, as a teacher leader, want to take those suggestions and use them and create an environment in my future school that is welcoming and accepting to English language learners. I truly believe that every child has great potential, they just need the proper education to be able to reach out and achieve their goals. As an elementary education major, reading about people who are determined to make a positive change in our schools is restorative to my hope for our students’ futures.
My Catholic education means success. Catholic education provides me me with what I need to succeed and to grow in my Catholic faith. My Catholic education prepares me for the real world. Because I go to a Catholic school I know that I am getting the best education in the safest environment. Everyone is there to help if you need it.
I would like to continue my education at Cal State La to pursue my post baccalaureate study and earn a teacher credential in mild to moderate disabilities. Becoming a teacher has always been a goal of mine, since I was young girl. I always known I wanted to become a teacher thanks to all the great teachers I had through my education in elementary and high school, who inspired me and pushed me to work hard because they cared. But, most importantly showed me how a teacher should teach and care for their students, making my experiences in school deeply meaningful. And because of all the great support they gave me I fell in love with the profession of teaching.
My educational goal is to be able to graduate high school with honors and hopefully getting into my dream college. This educational goal of mine is very important to me because it not only lets me know how hard I have been working, but it also keeps me focused in school so I can obtain this goal that I want. My personal goal is to be able to get to a point in my life where I can be financially stable being able to take care of me and my family. I always looked into the future seeing myself as very wealthy and being able to do things with my family without struggle and I made it my goal to strive for this by putting in the time and work in school. My professional goal is being able to become a doctor and take care of people that are in need of help.
