Lelong provide total three types of language in the website which are Malay, Chinese and English so that enables different races in Malaysia to view this website while Groupon only have one main language which is English and it may lose potential customers who have less-educated in English. Both of the companies have facebook fans page and Twitter to follow the latest information or download application for iPhone and Android which allow tracking more discount and deal of the day. The payment systems of Groupon website are more choices than Lelong website and this bring convenience to the consumers because they no need worry about the payment problem. Groupon encrypt certain sensitive information such as credit card information by using Secure Socket Layer(SSL) technology. However, this technology cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure because hackers exists everywhere. The management seek partner with companies to protect user’s personal data while Lelong use double secure and verification system to provide more secure and better compare than to Groupon.
