Minute Man National Historical Park schedules numerous events over three consecutive weekends of events often called Patriots’ Month. Along with National Park Week, April kicks off the park season with this unique Massachusetts event. Días de los Muertos is a very unique tradition. While reading newsweek, “What is day of the dead? How to celebrate Dia de los Muertos without being offensive” I found some interesting finds. According to the article, this holiday is “more about sharing funny anecdotes and celebrating the life of those who have died rather than mourning.” Unlike other cultures, this event is more of a party than a funeral.
Dona Rafaela Balladares decided to revive the tradition she seeked help from her neighbors to volunteer help get the festivities back started. Ancient Egypt Dear King Hammurabi, my quest from Egypt was quite a journey, let me start by telling you about the Nile River. The Nile is the longest river in the world, with a total distance of 4,000 miles long. This spectacular river floods every year, but in Egypt this is a good thing because it provided the Egyptians with fertile silt for crops. On top of that, it also provided the water of which they sailed ships out of Egypt. Fish and other animals were also in the Nile, which was another way it was good for food.
My birthday is my favorite day of the whole year, which is on May 3rd. This is the time of year where I can celebrate with my whole family and have a great time. Every year my family goes out to see a movie that is out in theaters. Usually my birthday is around the time when the Marvel movies come out. The best thing about birthdays is being with my family, opening presents, and getting an ice cream cake!

In this case, forever was going to last only my four years of high school. At my first official meeting the majority of the time was used to plan the upcoming Greenlight Walk happening in Jackson. During the walk we would be walking around Jackson to raise awareness about the problems faced by youth living on the streets. The next night was the walk and I had never felt such satisfaction. It felt incredible to know that I had made a difference, no matter how small, in my community.
