Coming to America is the greatest change in my life. Being an American meaning one will be granted with limitless opportunities: financial aid, college grants, employments. Although I am not an official U.S citizen yet, I have been able to enjoy the privilege of being one. I was once reserved and afraid of fighting for what I believe for, but now I’m able to express my thoughts, exercise my freedom of speech and stand on the my ground. I am given chances to interact with different types of people, not just pertaining to school, but also to other aspect. Due to its welcoming nature and diversity, America has become the center of connections and trading; which increases working opportunities. Not only so, our government is established to support
Today I will be talking about the first time I came to America and how it has changed my life. When I was five years old, I started first grade in Turkey. I was afraid because my parents signed me up late and I thought I wouldn’t be able to make friends. Both my parents came with me for the first day of school and I made them wait outside of my classroom because they couldn’t come inside the classroom. The first time I entered class, all the kids were with their friends and the teacher had assigned me in between two girls.
America is another name for opportunity. America is a place for people to come live the life they want to live and be successful. Most people look at America as a place of freedom and a place where you dreams come true. An American is someone who serves our country, someone who gets to choose their own job, and someone who immigrates for more opportunities. First of all, an American is someone who serves our country.
Being in America means being safe at all times. The soldiers risk their lives for us so we can have a safe country. Soldiers put their friends and families through something that they are not used to but in the end they are relieved that they are home and safe. America is free today because of our soldiers and how they take the courage and are brave enough to go to the Navy or Afghanistan. Most people think that they join just so they can get away from their town but they are joining so they can keep this country a better place and keep it a free one.
America is one of the richest and safest place in the whole wide world. I was born in Egypt and came to California when I was 10 years old, I love it here. The reason I came to America was because of safety, but now that a lot of people have weapons it 's not as safe anymore. We should make a law about limiting people’s weapons and only people who actually need it shall have it.
America has had a high rate of immigration that continues to increase because of the plentiful opportunities available. From economic advantages to religious freedom America is full of gifts. Businesses in America grow with ease because of the economic policies offered
I was raised under a belt held by my father. To this day I can still recall the days I witnessed my father 's abuse to my family physically and emotionally. My family was tightly gripped by my father; which resulted to my sisters and I fearing him as we grew up. As a child, I was the one who got hit the most.
If I was to march it would be to help Mexican that live in America to let them work and to let them live like American citizens and not let them do stuff that American citizens can do just because there Mexicans. I think this is important because a lot of Mexicans come to America to give their children a better life but the parents don 't have good choices to work to provide food and stuff for their kids.
Why is America Exceptional? In 2001, my mother was able to acquire a visa to live in the United States of America, my mother wanted to chase her American dream. She knew that where she used to live, the opportunities were not there for her. My mother saw the greatness in the US that most of us see. The US is arguably the best country in the world, and most people who live here would agree.
The United States of America, one of the world’s strongest countries, it is a symbol of freedom and opportunity for all. Many people come here searching for a better life and to be able to practice their own religion without being persecuted, but overall I think that America’s greatest gift to my generation is the ability for everyone to get a great education and get good jobs. There are some places in the world that are very poor and cannot afford to make good schools for children to get a good education in, so the family might move to the United States of America to raise their children in a good learning environment. The children will learn everything they need to lead a good life and get a well paying job. One of the main reasons
As a teenager moving to a new country with a different culture, different language, and being thousands of miles away from everyone I grew up with was not an easy change, however, that was precisely what I did in January of 2013 when I came to the United States with my father. My whole world changed since, and shaped my way of thinking. From learning English, adjusting to a new culture, experiencing my first snow and finding my way in my new country, my life has been an exciting adventure. My parents brought me to America almost 5 years ago to have a better life, and to get a better education.
Ten years ago, I immigrated to the United States and ever since I have been an undocumented immigrant. Due to my legal status in the United States, I felt like I was restricted from certain situations and possessions and would never be able to succeed. I was not living the normal life of a seven-year-old. Instead, I had to learn to cope and adapt to a whole new culture. Even though the drastic change at such a young age was a challenge, it has shaped who I am today.

Have you ever thought something as silly as finger pulling would be a competitive sport? Well, it is in Austria. Did you also know that in Greece, kids throw their baby teeth on the roof for good luck? Or that children in China are potty trained in the public streets? These bizarre customs are just a few ways that differentiate countries from one another.
Consequently, borders have been open by rich and industrialized states for professional, technical and skilled immigrants, in contrast to a dwindling acceptance rate of semiskilled and unskilled workers. These trends have been noted in all countries of the North, such as Canada, Australia and Europe. In the United States, the greatest proportional contribution to the skill level of the immigrant intake is made by those in the independent, business and employer migration categories and business migration programs (Massey, Arango, Hugo, Kouaouci, Pellegrino and Taylor
