By definition technology is the science or knowledge put into practical use to solve problems or to invent useful tools (Your Dictionary). In today’s world many technological progress, changes and advances are happening. These changes and advances can be both suitable and unfavorable. This research paper seeks to discuss the pros and cons of living in the world of technology.
Today’s world is dominated by many advances in technology such as cell phones, laptops, computers and tablets among others used for the day to day operations to accomplish different objectives, goals or interests. In Belize, each and every one of us own some sort of gadget be it a tablet, smart phone, computer or ipad. Our lives have changed since the day technology came into existence. In the past, we did everything the old fashioned way from carrying portable cd-players, going to the library to do research to washing our clothes in our hands. The invention of mp3 players, washing machines & dryers to the creation of online databases have eliminated these stress and made our lives easier. Technology is now a big part of our society and will be an even huger part of our future.
The use of technology is good because it makes our lives easier and plays an important role in improving the quality of our lives. The evolution of technologies is the core of our society, making contributions to various fields in the world (Durrani). The benefits of technology are all around us. We can communicate with anyone
