Kidnapping. Taking someone away illegally by force, typically to obtain a ransom. The Lindberghs were a sweet family and everyone loved them, especially after they had their first son, or that 's what everyone thought. The Lindbergh’s son was killed after being kidnapped from their house in New Jersey. The mystery behind the Lindbergh baby kidnapping can be summed up in the theories: it was done by Bruno Hauptmann or Charles Lindbergh helped the kidnapper.

On March 1st, 1932, the child of Charles and Anne Lindbergh, Charles Augustus Lindbergh, was kidnapped from his home at only 20 months old, and later found with a crushed skull not far from the Lindbergh household. This kidnapping and murder sparked one of the biggest criminal investigations in American History, and was even dubbed “The Trial of the Century”. In the end, a German immigrant named Bruno Hauptmann was convicted and executed for the murder and kidnapping of Charles Augustus Lindbergh. But controversy has been spurred over this investigation, questioning the guilt of Hauptmann; after all, Hauptmann did claim innocence to the very end. On July 20, 1969, astronaut Neil Armstrong walked on the moon: or perhaps not. That is what some people think. They believe the "Moon Landings" were faked, in order to cheat the public out of billions of dollars and so that we could win the space race against the Soviet Union. According to conspiracy theorists, the scientists at N.A.S.A. realized during the Apollo missions that either is was technically impossible to reach the Moon ir that it cost too much. So, the government built a secret movie studio somewhere in the southwest and used special effects to pretend that the astronauts had landed on the Moon. Then, the "historic event" was sent through television to the entire world who, for the most part, believed it.

Throughout history there have exist a lot of theories that could explain the weird phenomena that occurs in the waters of The Bermuda Triangle.

Those footprints could have been any astronauts footprints if they had the same size shoe. Also several countries were tracking us then, but how do we know that we didn’t put the tracker on something else, and sent it to space. For all anyone knows, the United States of America government could have painted a painted a backdrop and made it into a movie. The pictures of the moon were miles apart and yet they still had the same background. How could this be? Yet not only that they had no stars. After all I mean shouldn’t they have stars or something. My first fact is, NASA found tons of alien activity in space on one of the planets. My reason and evidence is a man named Scott found a UFO flying in the air. So he got is technology equipment and he used it and found alien activity near the UFO. Many people try to find, see, and get proof of alien and UFO activity. Also people try very hard to find proof and when they do they tell other people and sometimes that person tells them that its false information when its actually true.

Hundreds of years ago, people used to believe that the earth was flat, but with the research and technology, we were able to find out that it is a perfect sphere. Aliens run along those same lines. Even with all the technology today, there is still no definite answer if we are alone in this massive universe or not. There is so much controversy weather or not aliens exist.

Also there was a photo taken by astronaut next to the U.S. flag. However conspiracy theorists don’t believe that the moon landing was due to the photo characteristics. There are a lot of questions about this photo which led to this conspiracy theory. One of those questions is why the flag appears to be moving if there is no wind in space.

On July 7, 1947, strange, unidentifiable material was recovered by a rancher outside the city of Roswell, NM. Was it debris from a crashed spaceship or a top-secret military experiment? The US government considers the “Roswell Incident " a closed case - saying the debris was from a wrecked high-altitude balloon launched to spy on the Soviets. Do you believe In Unidentified flying objects? Unidentified flying objects or UFOs are suspected to house aliens. I believe that UFOs and aliens are real and should be investigated by scientists. Aliens are the beings that are the ones who fly these UFOs. There are many people that believe in UFO and Aliens because of events that have happened. These events are the Roswell incident, crop circles, the secret surrounding area 51, Stonehenge and the great pyramids.

The hole that was left after American Airlines Flight 77 flew into the Pentagon was much smaller than the actual commercial plane. The plane was 125 feet long, however the hole left behind was 16 feet long, which lead a lot of people to question whether it was in fact the plane that crashed into the pentagon or was it hit by a foreign object and was made to look like a plane.

Thousands of people disappear each year within the Bermuda Triangle. Also planes and ships are vanished and missing in this mysterious place. There are several theories that explain how travelers and their transportation went missing. The Bermuda Triangle is an area that has created many disappearances, one of the main theories is because of the weather it is also said that there is the existence of another dimension within this mysterious place. The Bermuda Triangle is located between Florida, Puerto Rico and the Bahamas. (“The Bermuda Triangle”). It is called the Bermuda Triangle because its imaginary area looks like a triangle. (See Figure 1). It is also called the Devil’s Triangle because of all the terror and disappearance this place occasioned. (Nickell).

This has the government interested in what they claimed. A married couple by the names Mr. and Mrs. Wilmot claimed they had seen what looked like a flying disk. It was a Wednesday night, the couple was sitting on the porch they said about 10 pm, when they saw a glowing object zoom through the sky. “Wilmot said that it appeared to him to be about 1,500 feet high and going fast. He estimated between 400 and 500 miles per hour” (Roswell Daily Record page 1). Loretta Proctor claims she was the first to see the wreckage, she was Mac’s neighbor.” We cut on it with a knife and would hold a match on it, and it wouldn 't burn. We knew it wasn 't wood. It was smooth like plastic, it didn 't have a real sharp corners, kind of like a dowel stick. Kind of dark tan. It didn 't have any grain, just smooth. I hadn 't seen anything like it” (Loretta Proctor page 1). William Brazel Jr son of Mac Brazel gave a description of the wreckage and what happened. “One of the pieces looked like] something on the order of tinfoil, except that [it] wouldn 't tear.... You could wrinkle it and lay it back down and it immediately resumed its original shape... quite pliable, but you couldn 't crease or bend it like ordinary metal. Almost like a plastic, but definitely metallic. Dad once said that the Army had once told him it was not anything made by us” (William Brazel Jr page 2). He goes on to describe a threadlike material that looked like silk and was strong. But it wasn’t silk, and there were wooden particles. When Neil Armstrong first touched down on the moon in 1969, millions of people watched him take the first step and create history (Villard). Yet even as we’ve moved on from the moon landings and consider them as a pivotal point for mankind, “Forty years after U.S. astronaut Neil Armstrong became the first human to set foot on the moon, many conspiracy theorists still insist the Apollo 11 moon landing was an elaborate hoax”(Than). The idea that our voyage to the moon was deliberately staged seems to resurface year after year. While the conspiracy theorists claim the moon landing was a hoax, creating a fake moon landing would have been more expensive and difficult than actually reaching the moon.
