They are wanting to be like some of the violent characters in those video games. Like shoot a gun or rob someone or something. They just want to have the story of how you grow up as a wanted criminal, which is not tolerated by our country today. These video games are teaching our kids bad habits and that’s not good. “As many as 97% of US kids age 12-17 play video games, contributing to the $21.53 billion domestic video game industry. When you consume violent media, TV, movies or videogames for a brief period of time, you have somewhere in your head a whole bunch of thoughts that have to do with agreement, which is called a “priming effect”. By the time you’re five or six, everyone has the knowledge of how to physically hurt someone, of fighting or shooting. When you think about aggression, that starts a whole region of your brain and primes knowledge about aggression in general. What that does is, if you’re thinking aggressive thoughts and are then put in a situation where they are bothered, even a little bothered, it increases the likelihood that you’ll regard it as somewhat more serious and intentional.
