What is the thing crosses on your mind when you hear word Reog Ponorogo? A traditional dance comes from Ponorogo, East Java? Or the mask of tiger that used to represent the singa barong? The dance shows a particular story – the most famous story spread is the rebellion of Ki Ageng Kutu to Bhre Kertabumi because of the corrupt governments and government’s inability to act since the queen was authoritative, thus Ki Ageng Kutu established a school for those who wanted to learn ilmu kanoragan (invincible power). It’s applied the new rule that gemblak should be performed by girls, in order to remove the stigma of homosexuality in Reog Ponorogo. Even though warok and gemblak practice can’t be found freely anymore in Ponorogo, but warok and gemblak can be a proof that homosexual practice already done since a long time ago.
In brief, the practice of warok and gemblak might be accepted to the local society since it’s a culture applied there. But as the time goes by, the role of warok and gemblak removed from the real life and only portrayed in Reog show. Even the role of gemblak is replaced by girls, not handsome young boys anymore.
Warok-gemblakan practice is not recommended by local religious leaders since it against the public morality. Warok tradition also stops practiced by most of people in Ponorogo since it’s not recommended to have such supernatural power. Many people become aware that we live in modern era now, where supernatural powers may be seen as imaginary thoughts. I believe that the characters of warok and gemblak seen as decent characters which not much people know about the story behind. But, we can conclude that there’s a proof of homosexual practice in
Indonesia, long time before LGBT term is known worldwide. And the
Westerbork Westerbork a transit camp, which was in use during the Holocaust is located in the northeastern part of the Netherlands near a town named Westerbork. The transit camp was opened by Dutch authorities in the summer of 1939, in order to get Jewish refugees from Germany. The first foreigners or refugees to come to Westerbork came on October 9, 1939. Foreigners were chosen if they 've entered illegally to the Netherlands. About 750 refugees came to Westerbork when Germany invaded Holland.
The Arapaho is a Native American Tribe. This chant, known as the “Eagle Dance” is given its distinct metrical rhythm because of a drum that is hit on every beat, giving it the feeling of a duple meter. This drum maintains an even tempo throughout the chant, from the first 4 beats which serve to introduce the chant, all the way through. The chanting vocal group is very free, they are speak singing throughout, and there are many people in the group including a primary upper voice and many voices underneath. This primary upper voice also sings performs for a small portion of the chant, transitioning to the repetition of the main melody.
John Wayne Gacy was prosecuted on multiple accounts of murder, an accounted serial killer and rapist. In the court of law, it does not matter what upbringing a citizen may have faced. No matter what hardship or handicaps an individual faced during their childhood, crime is definite. He was accused of multiple charges with various evidence. Eventually, Gacy had given up and knew his sentence was inevitable.
Singing and dancing for enjoyment, shows how this music differs from popular or concert. They are poor and sing and dance because it's part of their culture, and they sing about their struggles and you can hear it in their voices. Music was always played as they danced, showing how intertwined they are. One observation is that there is a large number of female cloggers. Clogging is one of the main forms of dancing that goes with their music.

Dancing and representing my culture has allowed me to dispose of my nervousness and to take pride in my cultural background as if it’s second nature. Culture consists of our internal identity that continually binds us together. It provides insight to the unique and distinct customs of our place of origin. I have contributed an immense amount of time and energy into the project.
Sexual orientation is a challenging subject for those who have no viable knowledge with the matter. For those who deal with sexual orientation confusion, coming to terms with oneself is a challenge. For those who are homosexual, and grow up in the Catholic Church, are subjected to gay conversion therapy to rid them of their sins. Gay conversion therapy is the act of treating homosexuals as though they are diseased of the mind and must be cured of their illness, their homosexual thoughts. Homosexual boys and men are either forced into conversion therapy or make a voluntary choice to attend because they were raised to believe their sexuality is unnatural.
The jarabe is considered M?xicos national dance and is the best known outside the country,often called the Mexican hot dance in English. Like all folk dancing, Traditional mexican dances provide a glimpse into the culture of the region. Not only do these dances from M?xico express the rhythms of the musical, But also the vital color wovent into mexican clothing and decoration,as well as themes important to the region such as catholicism and communion with nature. Mexican culture shines through the Traditional dances of the country. Many mexican familias are planted firmly in religious faith and Rich intricacies of generacional Traditions and celebrations observed year after year.
The dancers do this so that they can display how what kind of instruments their music is made with. Through Korean Traditional Dance, dancers can show that the way they move their body, it displays their cultural meanings and social
The dancers were wearing some sort of animal skin as clothing on their lower body. They also had some bells attached to their calf’s to provide extra sound to the dance. They danced very passionately, and with great enthusiasm. The dance is enjoyable to watch.
It is a type of dance that mostly dance by stomping and bending knees, so I think that it is a happy mood dance. That is what that man is feeling at that time. The similarities of the content is both of them are doing what we call freedom. The thing that show themselves. The thing that people think it is weird.
