Inflammation of the skin is often an early sign of lupus that usually results in thinning of the hair and loss of eyelashes, eyebrows, facial hair, and body hair. Hair may grow back with treatment. With systemic lupus, the situation can be very different, with the loss of hair much more dramatic and noticeable. Lupus hair loss can be caused by the disease itself, as the immune system destroys hair follicles, or by medicines such as prednisone (a synthetic drug similar to cortisone, used to relieve rheumatic and allergic conditions and to treat leukemia). Unfortunately a person 's recovery depends on the person it is impossible to know what treatments will work for each patient because every person is different. It also depends on how early you find the disease forming and where the areas have formed for example if it forms on the areas where there is a large numbers of hair you have a better chance of recovery. The reason why is because the pigment cells in the root of the hair move to the surface of the skin to repigment the skin. In areas that have less hair it is more likely it will not recover fully.

African-American pop culture and pop culture in general, may be researched by a lot of researchers but I still get the impression that its roots are badly overlooked. Pop culture isn’t only an entertainment but it has some great depth into it that makes it worth learning the subject. In my thesis, I want to give more attention to the development of the African-American culture throughout all these years from the very beginning. How only one race can make a significant changes, not only in their own nation but in the country they’ve been brought to ruthlessly. It’s amazing how the human race that used to be treated literally like animals, representing the lowest class, benefitted the ones that used them in the past with their creativity
I. I spent the early half of my childhood like any other kid, outside playing, jumping in puddles, having an excess of energy that no one could contain. Then one day all of my energy was gone. I spent my afternoons and evenings napping from severe fatigue. My family thought nothing of it, until I started getting rashes all over my body. After a few blood tests, the doctors came back with an answer. As a child one may never expect to be diagnosed with an incurable auto immune disease, let alone one that affects your day to day functioning.

It is common when we see events from the past influence more of what goes on in the present. The stories Danticat has written about the past majority influenced the present time in her book. In the story Josephine remembers that if Jacqueline really is one of the daughters of the river, then she'll know the answers to specific questions. Since the daughters of the river were always to do this before letting one of their own into their house - that's what Josephine did. Jacqueline answered each question correctly and continued her business with Josephine. This event carried on the tradition of these questions between the Haitian women. In the

Although for others the urge to pull hair can become overwhelming. However, there is treatment available to decrease the pulling sensation or to stop completely.
When society hears the words mental disorder, the first thing that pops into their minds is Schizophrenia or Bipolar. One disorder that you may not have heard about is Trichotillomania.
