If more and more countries get involved, then even more can be done for this awful atrocity.

The main cause of all these murders is drug trafficking. According to the CDC over 64,000 people died in 2016 due to drug overdose. Not only do drugs kill, but they also ruin many lives. These illegal drug manufacturers traffic it, drug trafficking affects society greatly and we are going to stop it. It is a difficult process for drug traffickers and drug lords to send their “product” to other countries.

To increase the control within Mexicos institutional frame work the cartels use brutality and terror. Corpses are dumped in city streets and in other cases, the bodies are cut into pieces or decapitated. Reporters are usually always the victims of cartel murders. They fear fatal repercussions for detailing cartel activities.
We learned that over the last 40 years the police department of the City of Miami and Miami- Dade County have experienced their share of civil disturbances. The Cincinnati Race Riots has been starting in the late 1800’s which the author believes it is still occurring in today’s world. Police Brutality is one of the main reasons for rioting and fighting. As they say, ‘’Between 1995 and April 2001, fifteen black males suspected of crimes had been killed by Cincinnati police during confrontation or while in custody, including four since November 2000, while no white suspects were killed in that period’’ (Wikipedia Cincinnati Riots 2001 np) In 2001, the deaf of Timothy Thomas, an African American male had started a riot. He was shot by the Cincinnati Police Department.Another African American named Roger Owensby Jr. died from being put in a police chokehold for resisting arrest, which killed him. The next day, Jeffrey Irons was killed for getting into a little fight with the police.
In the end, racism and poverty can be summed up under one major theme, bullying. Racism is a form a bullying, its name calling which is the highest form of bullying. In both novels even people who are your friends will also make comments and 'jokes ' about your race. Poverty also aids in bullying. People who are usually poor don’t have really nice things and their hygiene might not be up to par.
