Areas of improvement:
1a Demonstrating Knowledge of Content and Pedagogy: I feel that my knowledge in Curriculum and Instruction is growing, this position affords me with the opportunity to gain a deep understanding in many curriculums and I feel that I am learning more and more each day as I prepare and plan my coaching sessions with all the teachers I coach from a variety of disciplines World language, High School Special Ed, HS ESL, Math, SS, pretty much all core content areas. I am seeking out more Professional Development and Professional Readings in the practice of an Instructional Coach and feel that there is so much still for me to learn and grow in the practice.

I would like to use a combination of Teacher centered coaching along with student-centered coaching which will allow me to be specific with what instructional practice and student learning objective the teacher is focusing and measuring the impact that instructional strategy has on student learning. As of now, my coaching sessions have been very teacher centered around "planning and prep", which is fine because once the planning/prep is solid we can move on to the exciting part. My feedback will be a lot more powerful once the teachers see their hard work gain big results in their learning of themselves and most important student learning.

With this information, I can then tailor my support and feedback to meet their needs and that of their students. This affords me to be flexible in my approach and offering choices and responding to their concerns and needs when they need it most.
3b. Engaging adults and differentiating support
There are many ways I initiate collaboration and conversation with the teachers, for example attending their TCT regularly, offering differing formats that they find to be the most effective way to receive support and feedback. For example, there’s a teacher that learns best by viewing best practices in action, another prefers a more hybrid approach that is face to face meetings and online using google docs to offer feedback on lesson planning. Others prefer more of a facilitated group session.
3c. Sharing expertise and resources
During my coaching sessions, I share my expertise in instruction and curriculum. Also, I share my expertise in understanding the role of standards in planning and offer group work on work sessions to facilitate unpacking standards. Besides that of curriculum, I provide resources through the Professional Knowledge Folder and professional
