I was sitting on my grandma and grandpa’s dock fishing ,the smell of unsavory worms and salty fish .When I saw my bobber go under so I was thinking, oh it’s just one of the little sunfish. Then I started reeling in and it wasn’t going to budge, so then I was like darn the fish got into the brush .So I started reeling in and it started pulling away that's when I realized that ,this was a HUGE fish . I yelled for my grandpa and he hobbled his way down to the dock and I said,”It is probably one of the catfish.” (I had caught some of those of his dock too)
The stickleback fish have gained much attention from evolutionary biologists because of their historic ability to adapt to conditions that were not favorable and to survive successfully in them. They are also able to give researchers insight into how evolution occurs in other organisms. The stickleback normally spawns in freshwater but lives in the salt-water ocean. Long ago when ice melted and receded, the fish were given new possible places to inhabit and they did, expanding their spawning locations to newly formed streams. Eventually, though, the streams were cut off from the sea and the once salt-water sticklebacks were faced with the problem of being stuck in freshwater with no way to get out.1
“I thought at first that it was just some debris off the lake since they were so bloated, but as I got a closer look I realized what it

After a while of driving the boat looking for a spot to fish, we found a spot. The spot was perfect , and we were fishing in fifteen feet of water on a weed edge. Then, we put our rigs down. We were using Lindy rigs with a leech and started fishing. Then, my grandpa's drag started screaming -- he had a fish!

When my dad got the fish to the boat he look surprised. When the fish saw the boat it decided it to take off like a jet, or so it tried. My dad got it closer to the boat and I netted it. I got it in the boat and we took some pictures. Lots of pictures.

Even if you are not a fisherman you can 't deny that successful fly fishing is an art, requiring careful preparation and planning. The most indispensable part of the process is finding the right fishing flies for the area and wildlife you are planning to go fishing in. The fly fishing flies that fly fishermen use for bait are meant to match the size and species of the real insects that imbue a given area and attract fish. This way, they are indistinguishable from the fish who want to eat them.
My specie is the Great White or scientifically known as Carcharodon Carcharias. I chose this specie to create awareness for the fisherman that are hunting sharks. The natural habitat of the great white shark is the ocean usually where the water is 24 and 12 degrees (Northeastern of United states, California, northeastern of United states, Coast of Australia, Brazil, Azores, Madagascar, The Caribbean, Eastern África, Northwestern África, the Seychelles, Mauritius, Northern Australia, Sri Lanka, Hawaii, New Caledonia and Philippines). This specie is endangered because humans are hunting the sharks because of teeth and fins, hunting competitions and because sometimes people try to fish and by accident the white shark comes together..
Usually killer whales prey on about 30 species of fish. On average, a killer whale eats 227 kilograms (500 lb) each day as it needs lots of food to sustain itself. Killer whales hunt in a very strange way called carousel feeding. They force fish into a tight ball by releasing bursts of bubbles .They then slap the ball with their tail flukes, either stunning or killing up to 15 fish at a time.
“Valen’s cooking again? At this rate the dead fish may kill us before the live ones!” I said with followed by a laugh. We walked towards the table set up on deck. It was getting fairly dark and the waves had gone from a slosh to a soft roar.
When I got it in it was so big. It was called a tiger muskie. It was a really lite yellow with blackish brown stripes. When I was reeling it in I was wondering what the heck type fish it was. I saw a little bit of it’s body at first, but I couldn’t identify it.

I pulled back and had the fish hooked. I knew it had to be a big fish because it was hard to reel in. After about 25 or 30 minutes the fish was almost at the doc. Then I started to pull it out of the water and that’s when I realized it was a shark. The shark was about two feet long and weighed 45 pounds.
