Slippery Rock University is located in Butler County, Pennsylvania. The University was founded in 1889, and was originally known as Slippery Rock Normal School with an enrollment of 168 students. The institution began as a teacher education institution. In 1926 the school was purchased by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and turned into four year teacher’s college. The institution primarily focused on health and physical education, and secondary and elementary education.
1. Why did you choose to attend Central Lakes College? I chose Central Lakes College for many reasons. First, Central Lakes College is affordable compared to other universities. Central Lakes College costs about $8000 dollars annually, compared to other universities (major and private) which can range from $23,000-$50,000.
Catlin College is located in Zenith, Polis with a population of 52,500. Founded in the 1930’s to meet the educational needs of Zenith and Sullivan Valley, Catlin College was a two-year Junior College division of Ivy University. In the 1940’s, the Junior College became Catlin College, a four-year institution. Catlin College became independent and accredited in 1951 and offered graduate programs for the first time in the late 1960’s.
Tessa an upcoming freshman at Pilchuck High School spends most of her summer playing football with her boyfriend and his friends. Moreover, she went for runs with her best friends Lexie and Marina. Throughout the summer many things had happened to Tessa; she had gotten a boyfriend, she started playing football, and had a strife with her mother. But most of all she had been able to play in football camp. The decisions that she had to make had conflicted with her friends and family members.

SSG Worley possesses the qualities required of a future Army Warrant Officer, specifically those needed to excel in the latest addition to the Warrant Officer Military Career Specialties (MOS), the Cyber Operations Technician, 170A. He has served as my Arabic Language Analyst and NCOIC of Analysis and Production for the 102 Combat Mission Team (CMT) for nearly two years. During this time his technical proficiency, attention to detail and adaptability has been equal and at times, has surpassed the skills of individuals assigned to more technical cyber roles within the team.
The 1st Sustainment Command (Theater) (TSC) promoted one of its own today. It was a true honor to be a part of Athena Oliver’s promotion from chief warrant officer three (CW3) to the rank of CW4. The Army has a unique esprit de corps, as we work, train, and fight beside each other in the tireless effort to protect the American people and preserve our way of life. Through war and peace, the Army is a professional organization—a Family. Warrant officers are highly skilled, single-track specialty officers, the ranks CW2 through CW5, are commissioned by the President of the United States and take the same oath as regular commissioned officers (O 1 to O 10).
Nestled in the suburbs of Irmo, SC, Dutch Fork residents are not far from beautiful Lake Murray. Because of its lakefront locality and closeness to the state capital of Columbia, the Dutch Fork community has experienced much growth over the last several years and has become more diverse. One of four high schools in District Five of Lexington and Richland Counties, Dutch Fork High School (DFHS) serves students in grades 9-12 with a growing population of 1830. The student body consists of 57% white, 34% African American, and 9% other. Approximately 28% of students receive free or reduced-price lunches, and 8% are classified as special education students.
As Hester used her second chance as redeeming her sin, Wes Moore, the Rhodes Scholar and veteran, never gave up on his second shot at military school, leading him to eventually become a “platoon sergeant. . . cadet master sergeant. . . youngest noncommissioned officer in entire corps.” (Moore 115).
In 2013 at Old Dominion University for four years of college, only 23.1 percent of students graduated, five years of college, only 45.2 percent of students graduated, and for six years of college, only 51.2 percent of students graduated. It is kind of upsetting that not many students graduate at the same time as everyone else. One of the reasons why is that certain students do not take their work seriously at all. But, if a student works late, it would be hard for them to get their schoolwork done by the day it is due. As a Thomas Nelson Community College student, I need to get my degree as soon as everyone else does, even though college is difficult.
Surface Warfare Officers (SWO) are known as the backbone of the Navy. For years I have desired to obtain this position and have done extensive research concerning the attributes and requirements. Because I believe the Navy begins in the heart as well as the head, I know that becoming a part of the Navy would be life changing. Commissioning as a SWO would allow me to make a meaningful difference, as well as gain unparalleled leadership experience.
San Pedro College is currently experiencing a decline in employee morale and productivity due to lack of funding throughout the institution. As a result, many employees have considered leaving the institution if leadership does not propose strategies to resolve the current issues at hand. According to this case study, San Pedro College has no funding available to offer a salary increase to faculty and staff. As a result, numerous employees are exploring other avenues of employment.
Preamble to Petition According to the 2015-2016 Searcy High School handbook, “education is a life-long process of paramount importance to the well-being of the individual and the democratic way of life, it is necessary for students to develop positive work habits, adaptability, understanding, and the ability to live and work in a diverse, technological society.” It is the teacher’s duty to fulfill this mission statement; it is the student’s right to have a teacher who is competent and capable to do such. It is also the teacher’s duty to create a safe and structured learning environment. Mattie Setzler is failing to strive for excellence, failing to be competent, failing to create a safe and structured learning environment for her students;
Motlow State Community College does not offer a cafeteria for students at the Smyrna Center. Constructing a cafeteria at Motlow State Community College would be beneficial for everyone, including the staff and students. A cafeteria would offer convenience for students and staff, increase the attendance rate, and allow students to engage in social interactions with one another. Not only is cafeteria favorable for the Motlow State community, but it would multiply the revenue for the school. Predominantly, constructing a cafeteria will improve the Smyrna campus as a whole.
My work ethic has elevated me above my peers and is reflected in my records. Over the past five years, my interest in the intelligence field has increased and I 've used that time wisely to improve my analytical proficiency. I paid close attention to senior leadership, learned from them and use them as role models to becoming a warrant officer. Now, I am ready to take this important step in my life and career by becoming a significant asset to the warrant officer
As I embark on the newest chapter in my life it occurs to me that I must first take time to fully process and appreciate the magnitude of what it really is to be a Warrant Officer in the United States Army. From my own perspective as well as the perspective seen from society I can see my new responsibilities will hold a paramount position in many different aspects. This being said, I can look forward to a major shift in what my focus will be and how my decisions will directly impact those around me. My personal desire to become a Warrant officer stems from my constant thirst to grow and influence my surroundings.
