Dedication Page This page is dedicated to my beautiful little sister and my strong independent mother. My mom is my such an amazing, strong and powerful woman. She is my best friend she has been there for me for the longest time. My mom works every single day and only has one day off to provide for us her family, However, no matter how busy she is she will always make time for us to check in making sure we’re fine. We have been through so much together the past 7 years and my mom has been perfect through it all. My mom always inspires me to do my best every single day and I make sure to never disappoint her. She is also very silly she loves to pull pranks, make jokes and just all around make us very happy. My mother is also very understanding she instantly knows when something is wrong or I’m upset and she always finds a way to make me feel better. I love my best friend so much she means the world to me and I wouldn’t be the student I am today without her in my life. Now for my young, annoying and beautiful little sister Marianna. She was actually born 2 days after my birthday in 2005 so she was a late birthday gift to me. My sister is the definition of gorgeous, amazing and outstanding she is just perfect. She is legit the funniest and understanding girl I know. My sister is so sweet she 's with me forever if I didn’t have her I probably would still be shy and not fun. Everytime something happens to me she is the first person I tell, she knows all my secrets. At a very
The sayings goes back to “ Two wrongs don’t make a right”. Catalina de Erauso is born a “normal” girl. Has a “normal” family with sisters and brothers that can be verified. She writes in her memoir “ My parents, Captain don Miguel de Erauso and dona Maria Perez de Galarraga y Arce, were native-born residents of the town, and they raised me at home with my brother and sister until I was 4”. Yet as a women, her rumbustious cloudy judgement and her outrageous exploits leads her to commit countless of crimes: murder, evading the authorities, disturbing the peace and coming assault.
On December 7, 1941, the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor changed the lives of thousands of Japanese Americans, including Mama and her family. As they are uprooted from their home and forced into internment camps, Mama’s character undergoes a profound transformation that shapes her identity and her role in the community. Mama from Farewell to Manzanar is a strong and courageous woman who fought for her family’s survival during World War II. She evolves from a passive victim of discrimination to a powerful and compassionate leader who navigates her family through the challenges of internment. Her journey underscores the resilience of the human spirit and the power of community in times of adversity.
Simone is not only an inspiration to her fans, but also to her sister. Her sister says “without Simone being there for me all the time when we were younger I didn’t know what I would do she’s picked me up at my lowest and I’m pretty sure I’ve done the same,”
She will comfort me as much as she can. In addition, she finds a solution to about everything. If anything
TITLE, Lauren Helgason, September 25, 2015 Over a year ago my Aunt Bernadette and my Uncle Glenn got divorced. My Aunt didn’t take it very well, but to the rest of my family it didn’t come as much of a surprise. They were always fighting with each other over petty things and didn’t get along. However, my Aunt couldn’t accept that she was part of the problem, so she decided to push the blame onto someone else.
We can share anything and everything with each other and love each other for who we are, flaws and all. Being part of this sisterhood has impacted me in many positive ways. I
My sister Shermiah Burton has gone to two different schools the first one was SUSCC which she graduated, now she goes to Point University she currently enrolled there now. I look up to my sister in so many different ways she is hard-working and devoted in everything she does. She likes to help any and everyone. My mama, step father, and my oldest sister are a great impact in my life. I try and accomplish things just like her.
She has such a positive attitude towards life and always smiles at everyone she sees in hopes to make someone’s day a little better. She was always known as the “cool mom” to my friends growing up because her presence makes the room ten times
Even though my sister has gone through the bad and the good times I will always believe in her, she is my hero and my guide on how to survive the bullies and the hardest bumps in the road that have hit our family like a truck. Even when her and I have our bad days she has always been my partner in crime, my one and only true best friend, no matter what she does I will always love her no matter what the situation
A couple of weeks before I turned eight my little brother was born. They have impacted my life way more than they realize. Being an older sister has shaped me into the person I am today in school and class, because I’ve learned how to cope with different things, learned that people like to do things their own way and I have learned how to set a good example. I have learned how to cope with things I don’t like very much being a big sister.
This has helped her overcome so much heartbreak, from losing my dad, my sister, and my brother to her own health issues and through it all her faith has never been shaken. I look at my mother with nothing less than amazement. After my dad had his heart attack and could no longer work my mom never failed to provide for all her children, we didn't have a lot but we always had enough. This made me such a humble and grateful person, and I never take anything I have for granted.
I watched my mother fade away slowly as she was battling pancreatic cancer. I looked after her everyday as best as I could; however, the feeling of my eventual solitude was unbearable. The thought of my mother’s imminent demise made me feel like my heart was being continuously stabbed. Watching my mother suffer was one of the hardest things I have ever had to go through. After her passing; something changed in me, darkness filled where love once was.
In a world full of uncertainties, there is one person everyone on this Earth dead or alive has or had, and that is a mother. What is a mother? The dictionary definition of a mother as a noun is a woman in relation to her child or children, but as a verb means bring up (a child) with care and affection. While there is no cookie cutter definition of a mother, women still continuously conform to the societal pressure placed upon them. Societal viewpoint is that the title of mother is a one size fits all category, meaning the roles of every mother must be the same since their “job title” is.
Most people in the world are different in many ways. In fact, some people say no human being on earth has the same fingerprints. On a similar topic, my parents are different in many ways also. Although my mother and father are different in the ways they act, live life, and discipline children, I love them both. First off, my mother and father differ in the ways they act.
My mom, my sweet, gentle mom. My mom is like my sister, we love to talk about juicy stuff and love to share with each other what we did during the day. I don 't like to imagine myself without her because she is basically my life. She is caring and kind and always have a smile on her face when she sees me. When I say her name I get a picture of her in my mind.
