In computers, backup is storage that is intended as a copy of the storage that is actively in use so that, if the storage medium such as a hard disk fails and data is lost on that medium, it can be recovered from the copy. In an enterprise, because the loss of business data can be catastrophic, it is important that backup storage be provided.
Backup and storage is beneficial to recover our lost data or meanwhile storage is the most important aspect as in todays time even a 1 terra byte inbuilt hard disk get over loaded as a result we need some external storage devices to store our important data.

Modes of backup and storage When it comes to backup and storage a big question might arise in

USB drives or Flash drives
—>USB flash drives are often used for the same purposes for which hard disk drives or CD drives were once used, i.e., for storage, data back-up and transfer of computer files. They are smaller, faster, and are more durable and reliable because they have no moving parts. Additionally, they are immune to electromagnetic interference (unlike floppy disks), and are unharmed by surface scratches (unlike CDs).
Advantages and Disadvantages of local data storage
Advantages
• The user has complete control over access to your files and therefore it is really secure in comparison to an online storage where you don't know where your data is stored and who has access to your data. • The data can be accessed easily and quickly. • The user does not require an internet connection to access the document.
Disadvantages • Have to constantly keep back up of data to prevent loss. • The user is completely responsible for the safety of the data. • It is more difficult to share your data with others e.g. you need to upload on a hosted server and then either send an email or a link to the intended user. • Takes up more storage space if you store
1. Identify drives to which the databases and/or logs will be backed up, ensuring that there is enough disk space to accommodate the backups for the retention period that you choose. 2. Identify drive that will be used for data or log files. These will usually be on SAN storage and hence on a different drive from the operating system and SQL Server installations.
In contrast to previous Deduplication i.e. traditional Deduplication system/architecture in the cloud, this is i.e. Private cloud concept is a fresh entity launched for smooth the progress of consumer’s secure utilization of service provided by cloud. In particular, the fact that the computing assets at user’s side which are controlled moreover a public cloud is not that totally trusted in practical practice, while a private cloud is capable to make available data/file owner with implementation surroundings and make an infrastructure work effectively as a boundary between the owner and a public
1.0 Overview: These policy’s describes the backup strategy for workstations or devices likely to have their records backed up. These devices are naturally servers, however, are not essentially limited to servers. Servers projected to be backed up comprise of the file the mail and the web server. 1.0 Purpose: A policy designed to defend data in the organization to be sure it’s not lost and can be recuperated in the result of an equipment failure, deliberate destruction of data or disaster.
So backup of these two servers require 2GB space. 8. If we are using metadata to store backup of these servers it will probably require less storage size i.e less than 2 GB. 7.7.3 TPA(Third Party Auditor) 1. There are basically three types of audits product, process and system.
Today there are a few virtual server products and in time I am sure there will be many good products in the future. I will choose a virtual server backup product to suit my environment. First, I will need determine required service levels for recovery time objective and recovery point object. The will help me identify my requirements and help choose from a range of products that offer different service outcomes, from near continuous to periodic data protection.
Thanks to its flash storage which uses solid state technology, which means there are no moving parts. Without any moving mechanical parts, flash storage is more reliable, durable and quiet than traditional hard drives. And, it takes up much less space than a traditional hard drive too. That creates room
Do we follow our documented procedures for backup and recovery? Note: IT backup is an important component of our BCP. For example, our BCP provides that that we do these things to minimise the risk of lost of electronic documents – some documents are scanned to tape, and softcopies are held by business units; remote replication; and disk
Disadvantages are that you may have to pay for the antivirus software after it runs out. Usability and Accessibility Using the Kaspersky software is very easy, you just run the CD and then install it onto your software and then follow the instructions, its fairly straight- forward. Once you install the software you must update it every now and again but then a notification will pop up telling you to update it. Clean up tools
1. The operating system I am using is windows 7 and it allows me access Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. 2. A user interface is the way in which the user will interact with the computer system and all the apps that are available on the computers software. The components of a user interface is navigation mechanism, input mechanism, and output mechanism.
Drop box- It’s a technology that eases distribution of files. Once one puts any data in the drop box, the data or information automatically becomes available to every other member. It saves a lot of time and money. No need for items; flash disks for saving.
Describe different types of business documents that may be produced and the format to be followed for each. There are many different types of business documents that are used daily in business environments, for example; Emails- The fastest way to send documents and information and follow the format of recipient and subject. Spreadsheets- These are used to store information electronically.
A photograph is more than just a simple image; it tells a story. A story beyond a particular moment in time, it holds secrets and memories. The eagerness to comprise a moment in the perfect shot seems to become an obsession for many. In Kim Edwards ' novel The Memory Keeper 's Daughter, Edwards uses photography as a motif which coincides with the novel 's idea of secrets. David Henry, the antagonist of the novel, becomes fascinated with photography after choosing to give away his daughter and compresses his guilt with photography.
For the system, they should have backup plan for accessing the system to operate the basic functions. Lesson 10: Life-cycle-manage your network components. Equipment and components need to be maintained and replaced as needed. I think these ten lessons are all rights.
1 Alan varghese INRW April, 12, 2017 Social media Social media is a very important thing in our day to day life, we literally use it every day without social media just imagine how the society would be ? but it also weakens out brain to focus on one thing and to complete our task. They may contain viruses or nasty messages that you don 't want to read. So don 't open or accept files or e-mails you are not expecting.
